Elite587
I have the synergy F3's with an onkyo TX-SR605. How loud can these speakers go without damage? I got the onkyo up to 80 once (goes up to 100). That's pretty loud. I don't think I hurt them, but how can I know for sure? This question is more directed towards F3 owners obviously. I know there was a post about this already, but it hasn't been active since '05, and it didn't answer my questions.
Jay481985
should be fine, they probably can get to 120 db but don't do it
SilverSport
I think the Onkyo will distort before you reach the limit of the speaker...when you get that distortion...that is what will probably kill the speaker...I bet they go plenty loud for you thought right???...enjoy...nice speaker.
