Bi-amping - Too much power going to the tweeter?

I'm bi-amping my RC-7s (used as L/R Fronts) with a 60 watt per channel B&K 2500. I'm using a Y cable and sending the same signal to the HF and LF speaker connections. My amp has level controls and I currently have both HF and LF conncections turned all the way up. I am wondering if I am sending too much power to the tweeter? Should I use the level controls and reduce the volume going to the tweeter?

Thanks for any help.

Paul

I too am headed in this direction, we will need SPL meter to properly balance the output of the upper section with the woofer. The woofer will also need something like 10 the RMS power to match the mid and tweeter horns ...
