willland
I have a chance to purchase a set of RF-62's($600.00) and an RC-52($280.00) for a good price from an authorized dealer. I would like to move two of my RVX-42's to side surrounds and my center RVX-42 to center back surround(horizontally sittng on sofa table) for a 6.1 system. Is this an unusual setup or would it work okay? I have a pair of RSX-4's that will be relocated to the bedroom. Maybe also move one RVX-42 to bedroom. Should I leave the RSX-4's as surrounds and move all three RVX-42's to bedroom? I am soooo confused. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks, Bill
Guest BobG
You could use the RVX-42's as surrounds and rear center in your new main system design, though as surrounds, they are not as enveloping as Klipsch RS-X models. I have RVX-42's in my TV system. It seems odd to use RSX-4's as L&R with a RVX-42 as center, but in a small room it may work just fine.
