Have you seen the DD-5.1 in the multi-media sales area of the site?

It looks like a honey of a unit at very nice price. Perhaps it could be adapted for use by people who have classic type set ups (tube amps, etc.) and would like to go to HT without buying a full HT receiver.

yes, this can be done. klipsch even gives the explaination on how to do this in the manual. i would like to get one soon but have to wait, just spent about 900 bucks on some klipsch stuff......
