SW 10II vs SVS 20-39PC

I have been researching a new sub and since reading this forum I learned about SVS. I have decided on the 20-39PC after reading the SVS site. But I was hoping you guys could help first with some questions. I did like my Sw10 in my older small HT, but I finished the basement 18x28 and now feel the sw10 is too small for this room especially with certain DVD scenes at higher volumes. However, I'm not sure that I need more bass because at high music volumes with just the SW10 my TV rattles. I have a mitsubishi WS55809 and the 'protective screen' rattles at high volume. I've checked my owners's manual and the mitsubishi home page but found no answers. Secondly I noticed a hum thru my sub and all speakers if I plug the AC for the sub in anywhere except the back of the reciever- Denon AVR3801. I have a cheap Terk line protector but still hear hum if plug in sub there. Speakers are KLF 20 and RC3 and 4RS3. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

The 20-39 would give you a deeper more dynamic bass response. Your HT would improve 10 fold and you will be thankful you decided to buy it....trust me you can't go wrong
