With my SB Live 5.1 card, there was tremendous response from the sub. Could barely turn the sub dial past half. Now with the AE installed, I can place the sub dial at FULL but the sub response is only a fraction of what the SB Live card produced. Current drivers are installed... VIV Posted February 23, 2001 Share Posted February 23, 2001 Yea, the Acoustic Edge isn't as bass intensive or treble intensive in it's volume control as the SB Live's.
