thecutter
I got a new RT-12D. Do I Shut the LPF off or set the cross at 80? What about phase setting?
jimmy4300
IMO, Shut it off in the Sub. Set your front speakers to small and use the crossover in your receiver. Set that to 80Hz.

TNRabbit
We need to know w lot more about your setup before a credible response can be crafted.... Main/other speakers? Preamp/amp/other? I personally set the mains to small & try shifting the crossover frequency up/down until I get a good blend. You can also play with the slope...
