ANGRYMAN
I just got the 5.1 promedia speakers and really like them. However, my center speaker does nothing. I mean it works, when I test the speakers I get sound out of all of them, including the center. But, when I play games or music the speaker doesn't do anything. I even dowloaded the EAX files for Unreal Tournament, so I thought that the game would use the center speaker. I have the latest Sound Blaster Audigy card, so the speakers are supported by my hardware. I have everything set to 5 speakers on my system too. Is it just that not much really uses the centre speaker? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks. justin_tx_16
not a klipsch problem... thank creative for making a stupid card with inferior drivers. an acoustic edge, game theater xp, or santa cruz sound card will fix this. you will only get cd's and dvd's into 5.1 with that card, and you will need to use powerdvd 4.0 xp for best results.... some ppl can get 5.1 mp3's with powerdvd 4.0 xp. ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150 ProMedia 5.1 Placement Help s>
