maxhorn2
I actually own a Pyle 10" passive subwoofer powered by a integrated amp (75 w/ch/rms) I want to change to a RW-8 (I have a small listening room) or a RW-10. Will either of these two subs really upgrade the sound of my system?? My rig: Pioneer 7.1 a/v reciever Klipsch RB-51 fronts Klipsch RC-25 center Coral EX-101 surrounds Pyle passive sub and Nec integarted amp. These are the subs available in my country, no new Klipsch yet.
billybob
I had this one for a month, front ported and it did OK! How it would compare with your Pyle, I cannot say. Under the discontinued section of Subwoofers take a look at the 8's and 10's there. Maybe you need more watts than me but it did me. Wonder about your spec.s http://www.klipsch.com/products/discontinued/details/sw-v.aspx
darkside
I hate to hate on something someone else has spent their money on, but generally Pyle is not thought highly of, basically anywhere. Their stuff is known around the car audio world as being pyles of crap. So if you can get a Klipsch sub, by all means do so! I can certainly put money on it that it'll be better than your Pyle sub.
