Oaklands
I have a very nice Hitachi SR-2004 receiver that some of the lettering has come off. It was probably due to the previous owner using an abrasive cleaner. Has anyone here tried to re-letter a faceplate? What would be the best way to do so, or is there somewhere I can send it off to? Thanks for any advice. Keith
Daddy Dee
Keith, Yeh. too bad. I've also got a receiver which has some missing lettering. The lettering on the surface of faceplates are silk screened. I would think the "setup" would probably be prohibitive in cost.
djk
Art supply store, dry transfer lettering, clear-coat. Trophy shop, engrave and fill with paint.
