mckay_
Hi guys, I just got the RX z11 a couple weeks ago replacing my hk avr8000 and the problem having is not being able to get that "warm" sound again. It's fine until you reach higher levels, than well it just sounds harsh. I've read through the manual but since i'm relatively new at this I didn't really find anything that helped. Should I just adjust the treble, or is there something else you guys would reccommend like manually setting up the EQ? Any help is appreciated
Islander
If your receiver has an impedance switch, set it to 8 ohms, no matter what speakers you're using. If it's set to 4 or 6 ohms, the sound will be thin and lacking in bass. CAUTION: be sure the unit is switched off when changing the impedance setting. mckay_
Yeah it was already set to 8 ohms unfortunatly. Any other ideas?
