musiclover Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Anyone bought the new Genesis Box set yet? Is it worth it? Only one I own is Lamb Lies Down on Broadway on album. Like to purchase more by Genesis, but don/t know which ones to get. None of them are rated very high in Rolling Stone Record guide, but would like to have few more by them if someone can make some recommendations. Thanks. theryugobuddy Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 I love all the Genesis from that period with Peter Gabriel -- Selling England by the Pound and Trick of the Tail are the most simlar to LLDOB, but anything from Nursery Cryme to Wind and Wuthering is stellar -- that said, the box should be great becuase it covers those bases-- I've got the other box '1967 to 1975' which has LLDOB live right after the album was released and alot of other great rarities.
