ClaudeJ1 Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Just got the Police DVD, also available in BlueRay. It also comes with 2 CD's...............all for $19.95 at best buy. The show was recorded in a huge venue in Buenos Aires and has to be one of the best Rock Recordings ever. Stewart Copelan's cymbal, tom tom, and snare work are complemented by thunderous kick drum and STRONG bass output from Sting. Unile so many DVD's the only thing you hear from the rear channels is the crowd and ambience. The stage stuff is only in the front channels, as it should be. The performance of all their hits is first class. After 24 years, like the Cream Reunion of 2005, they are not a tribute band to themselves, they vary the arragments of the songs enough to make the live departure interesting.............not as much as Cream, but enough to not make all the original studio recordings redundant.
