Hi. I have not tried that yet, but sure will. I was using the internal DAC of the 8950, while trying to get the sound I wanted, I tried a Black Ice DAC with $400 dollar NOS tubes, that did the trick. Well that and better positioning. Now the CW4s are VERY ENJOYABLE for me. -
