I am back from my trip to Newcastle NSW Australia Had a great time catching up with my drummer mate and family Time does not sit still — Wow so many changes since my last visit in 2019 (pre covid) Tonight I am spinning Artist - Emerson, Lake & Palmer Title – Pictures At An Exhibition PS- This album was recorded at Newcastle City Hall (England) -
4 x 8000f's and a KV4. Al run off Adcom 200 watt per channel amps. I am about 16 feet from the center channel and the room is 22 foot wide. Listening area wide though is about 14. Got 2 more channels ready at 200 watts for the rear surrounds. So here is the problem. I was told that it should be directional. I hate that I am getting different answers. I was going to get the monopoles but most said that was a bad idea. I am getting more confused as this goes...

You will need an active crossover (which I think @Paducah Home Theater mentioned they are going to provide with the units). You can use the MC830s for the low end with the output going from the XO's low output into the back of the amplifiers. Of course, you then need to find 4 extra channels (a 2 channel amp for highs, another 2 channel for mids, with appropriate power).
