Wow, and here it is. 10 years later. Incredible.

Damon, I can totally relate. I sold my Parasound Halo C2 pre/pro not too long ago in favor of a Pioneer Elite 84TXSi receiver with HDMI.
Looks to me like the high-end SS processors need to get with the times, cause they're losing customers quick.- 1

Hey guys, thanks for the recommendation on Herbie's Way Excellent mat! I've been in the market for one myself (just bought a new Music Hall MMF-9) but didn't think Audioquest's $100 felt mat was anything more than, well, a felt mat with Audioquest's brand on it.
Did some research and this mat seems to get unanimous praise from users and critics alike. So I bought one. Can't wait to try it out!Always such good information floating around these here forum walls...- 1

Steve,
That's just plain awesome. I'm sure you are your son's hero...if only just for the next day or two...I wish I had a dad who was that cool back in the day.- 1

Hi all,
Just thought I'd give a heads-up to the TT I'm selling. It's the Music Hall MMF-5, complete with Pro-ject tonearm, Goldring 1012GZ cartridge (MM), and a Gyger II diamond stylus.I've always been more of a digital freak, so this year-old table has seen relatively little use, though enjoyed meticulous and painstaking care and maintanence. The table retails for $650, but I'm offering her up for $400. The original manual and accessories (minus the felt mat) are all included. For more info: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/ele/364531498.htmlPlease email or PM me if interested. Thanks for looking!- Nick- 1

LOL. Well, the scotch is a different story. I've actually decided to stop hoarding it all and am drinking it all down, one bottle at a time with friends! That is, after all, what a true bottle of scotch is for. It's an experience, to be shared with friends. Not to be oogled at every morning with my rice krispies. =) Come over some time and we'll have a dram!

Thanks for the heads up, David!

Wow David, you have an amazing memory! But alas...it's not her. Someone new has come into my life and this one BLOWS that girl outta the water! Only now do I feel I've truly found The One. =) But that also means it's bye bye to all my beloved stereo gear...

Awww, thanks for having me in your thoughts, guys! And don't worry, I AM keeping a small 2-channel rig for myself. All this other stuff was just "gravy." =)

Deftones "Saturday Night Wrist" - Alternative Metal CD.
To me, the Deftones just get better and better with each sucessive album. They blend chunky guitars and controlled screaming with melodic riffs and slow crooning. If you remember the song that played during the ending credits of "The Matrix," that's Deftones' brilliant aggro song "My Own Summer (Shove It)."
