OK, a silly question that I probably know the answer to but I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues:
When I get my new toys I'm going to want them closer together with less toe-in. When I ran my speaker wire in-wall I was assuming I'd have my cornwalls tucked DEEP into the corners forever. Now, I DID run all my wiring through conduit in the wall, but I'd honestly rather not mess with re-pulling unless I 100% need to. As long as I buy the same guage wire and do a nice solder/electrical tape job, it should be fine to just "extend" my current wires yes?

Anyone want my Vertical Cornwall if I have room to bring it?

Wow. Not as depressing as House of Sand and Fog, but close. Very creepy and very well done. Anyone else see this?

Eraserhead
in Lounge
Well John, I will have to take you up on that. I've seen Lost Highway, some Twin Peaks stuff, and his version of Dune is my favorite. "The Short Films of David Lynch" is in Netflix too. Eraserhead take the cake for being bizarre though.

Ok, my dealer was forcibly introducing the light of day into my nether regions with the "mid-May" date; my delivery date is now expected to be more like mid-July. Sorry everyone. I will for sure still have another event in case people can't make the pilgrimage.

I own Unforgiven on BluRay. Good stuff.

I still don't know if I'll be getting mine in time to schedule this glorious event I will post here as soon as I know.

A great Clint Eastwood movie. 3/5 stars!
-
The movie made sense, and I liked it quite a bit, except for the ending!
-
I assume I'm not invited?

Hopefully my leg has not been pulled on the release date? I didn't give them any dollars yet. They had the nicest white van though...
-
Shoudn't this be in the Movies section down below?

Now Michael, I'm sure you recall giving ME the same advice on your visit to my room, I'm recycling advice here

Depending on the size of your room, I believe THX spec would have you getting direct radiators for the rear surround. I agree with the RB-35 idea.

It seemed like I was demonized by proxy...

Damon,
If this could be delayed just a couple weeks I would be very willing to make the trip and bring my amps and preamp. Boy am I dying to hear the latest greatest..... It would also give me a chance to visit with Scott, John all the other cheese land Klipsters..... My yearly fishing vacation lands in the last week in May and I would have to have a couple weeks to both have the time and financially recover to make the trip to your place.
Craig
Delaying a couple of weeks puts us awefully close to the pilgrimage, where I assume we'll be doing some listening anyway, though perhaps with less gear -swapping freedom than I'm offering. The other option is to delay until August, when I assume Boomac will want to have another Lake Country Fest?
-
I've heard them, perhaps not in their final "kit" configuration, and was somewhat demonized for not being interested...
The P-39F are dead sexy anyway.

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to see what your impressions of the palladiums are, especially with your Aragon amp. These are already rapidly climbing my wish list!
And don't sweat the investment.......that's what student loans are for!
My impressions of the Palladium P-39F are already well documented:

On the same electronics, in the same room, I would take them over the Klipschorn any day.

The tuition thing was sort of a joke. My daughter's college fund is in tact and my son is 8 days old so I have yet to start his.
Seriously though, I went to an inexpensive state school, and these speakers cost me just over what 5 years of college cost me!
-
I need to book mine soon, but I'll be going Comfort Inn style as well. I'm bringing some beer & wine this year, BS session in my room...
-
Next thing you know he'll be wanting to put a huge fin on the back of his car and un-needed lights and gauges.
-
Wow! Congrats on the Palladiums! How much are they? I may have to swing by some time this summer since I live next door(MN).
Fifteen thousand smackaroos!

May I suggest the Merlot finish instead?
