hello and welcome to home theater stress! well i have owned polk speakers and must say they are a very good speaker but lack that high end crispness,and sound stage. even tho the lsi series are a little bit more refined than the rti series, it still lacks high end detail. the klipsch however using the famous klipsch horn brings out that crisp high end as you would hear the cymbals when listening to lets say a jazz number but at low level. the sound stage of a klipsch ref.series speaker is enveloping, and especially whith the rf7s is truly amazing. but only your ears will tell the difference,you be the judge and im sure youll come away with a satisfying system.my recommendation is klipsch if i may.

im trying to find any pdfs or reviews that i can compare the VELODYNE CHT12 vs. the KLIPSCH RSW12. any info would be welcome. if you have a klipsch rsw12 let me know how you would rate it. thanks ahead of time...Ric

ok heres the question.,currently i am using the rf3ii as my surrounds and they sound very good. but im wondering if im missing anything by not using the rs7 surrounds with the floor standers rf7 and rc7? any thoughts on this.......? thanks ahead of time. ric

just recieved my copy too. at first glance i must say this set is awesome! im watching it in the 6.1 dts mode and the music tracks are wonderful. the surround effects are just terrific, i think the rotk should come out in dvd first and then send the movie to the big screen!!( just kidding ). if you havent put this extended lotr in your collection yet...???? what are you waiting for? GREAT DVD.!

ok now im really confused!!!!! denon has a great dvd plyer in the dvd2900, now they have come out with the dvd2200, same specs or real close! do i justify the 800+ price tag for the dvd2900 or has anybody seen or have the dvd2200 that can tell me the difference?

well its done! the rf7 is the main speaker in my home theater set up and with all the wonderful suggestions i recieved on the post ive decided to use the rf3ii as the sats. along with the rc3 as the back channel.the sub is a velodyne cht12. well all i can say is the rf7 is a wonderful addition and it is as all have said.PLAYS BIG! wonderful fullness and crisp highs,along with bass thats just enveloping. thanks to MOON, and MARKS DAD, your post and suggestions paid off. i love the sound and anyone looking for audiophile sound in this price range cannot be matched.KLIPSCH has done it with the rf7 product! catch you all later,oh dont be afraid to order these on-line had a wonderful experience with uncles stereo, out of new jersey! great job.......anagin thanks ...RIC.

using the rf7 as fronts would you loose anything if you used the rf3ii as surrounds? thanks for the help....Ric

ok ive heard the rf5 is an amazing speaker and i now own the rf3ii.,BUT if i were to upgrade these should i go for WHAT??

i would like to use a good quality speaker wire and theres so many to choose from. are there any real diffrences in the wire other than just gage? thanks for the tip. ric.

stl, i tried both settings and the sound was okay. there wasnt anything wrong with it i just wanted to be a little bit better. and the rc7 gives me what i was looking for. thanks for the intrest and the reply. my sound is really crisp and the lows are incredible. voices seem real like and it was $ well spent. thanks again. if anyone intends to upgrade the center channel from the rc3ii to the rc7.........DO IT!!! wow this is an incredible center channel speaker. ive paired it up with the rf3 and in no way does the rc7 overpower it. alittle tweeking and its the most awesome sound youll enjoy. rf3 fronts rc7 center rs3 surrounds rc3 back center and velodyne 12ht
