  1. don't make your own deduction
  2. whats the point of listening to music in 4.1 or even 5.1 channel? surround speakers arn't ment for music listening. Is your front channel not loud enough? I find it stupid to listen to music in surround. When u are listening to a real life concert, do the sound comes from the front or do the sound comes from 360 degress?
  3. Why not convert the entire boot to a serious entertainment center? But i'll love an M5...
  4. we need a newer version of digital decorder...The decorder is not going to the rest of the world anyway...
  5. check the fuse and the power source
  6. having twice the power from the amp, that does't means it'll be twice as loud.

The output per satellite on the 4.1s is also less than the 2.1s. The 4.1s dont go upto 110db, they go upto 108db as compared to 2.1s which go 106db, although the 4.1s are louder on paper but they dont give the same impression when u actually listen to them. You might find yourself cranking it up over the half way mark a lot of times while this was never needed with the 2.1s... thats just the way the 4.1s are... ---------------- I do aggree with u...personally, i find myself crank up my 4.1 most of the time. I'm using 2.1 on my system about 80% of my total usage, i sheldom use my rear speakers. Acording to paper, the 4.1 are pushing more power to their sats than the 2.1.

I know i was able to add some serious gain with my 2.1's just by placing it in a corner. Try that with your 4.1 sub. ---------------- the 4.1 isn't very much louder than the 2.1 @ 110db vs 106db.
  9. I don't live in US, can anyone tell me whats the difference in price between the SWS and klipsch's reference RW-8? If the price arn't too far apart, i think the RW-8 can also be considered
  10. em... since thats the case, i'll strongly encourage u to get a multi-channel sound card to make full use of the surround sound. The sound blaster live is one of them u can consider given their low price.
  11. U guys can always add a HT sub to your system, The world isn't coming to an end without the SWS
  12. i don't see the need of a 4.1 speaker in the case
  13. one of the sat of my system is screwed very tightly too. Did they borrowed the engine from viper to drive the screw in?....lol..
  14. it's Sub Woofer System. e-mail klipsch if you don't believe
  15. WallyWal, i don't think klipsch produced a ultra 7.1
  16. thanks god i did not wait for the SWS
  17. thank u guys for replying. i'm actually helping my uncle in asking about this two system as he have very limited space avaliable, therefor he can only limit his choice to this two system. I think i should know wat to get
  18. can't blame the buyer. klipsch is the one who does't wanna produce more SWS for the market nor 230v for the rest of the world.
  19. hi all, which is a better choice between the bose acoustimass 15 and klipsch quintet? the system will be used mainly for music. thanks
