  1. also with the drawing and such made, umm i think that distortion and sound level will be effected doing it that way, the rca sws cable output is a better and cleaner way i believe? as the rca splitter reduces volume a bit and introduces more resistance as more cable and such is added but most likely non hearable but im not sure
  2. the sws passthrough is indeed a standarad lfe rca cable and you can place any standard sub that accepts the rca cable on it. Hence Adding a SVS PB2+ Or B4 is no problem but overkill for the ultras
  3. but the price of new rf-7 at j and r are only 1600 a pair plus up to a 10% discount from the sales man. not bad if you get new speakers, so what if the demo looks like crap for that price

  5. sorry i didn't shrink the size of the pic it's the default size from my 5 megapixel camera, nice close up don't you think? and with that i didn't listen cause they only showed cased one speaker without it being plugged in and i got a great pic of the rsw15 with dented front driver and scratched to hell exterior.
  6. I live in the ny area and I went to J and R music and such and they gave me a in store price of rf7 to about 1600 with possible 10% off negotiation if i purchased today. And their klipsch licensed too...

Even though the BA's still played music when connected this way, the SWS was not giving off any sound. I changed phase settings and still nothing. The SWS is working. Oh well, it gives me a reason to buy the Ultra's. ---------------- cause the ba7500 is digital out while the sws is analog out

I was wondering if its possible to add a SWS subwoofer to this setup to make it a 4.2 system and how would it be connected, I believe it is soundcard to SWS to speakers? ---------------- exactly
  10. get the SVS, 007. I'm saving up for my rf-7 set with a svs pb2+
  11. Oh btw Thanks everyone. And I had like 20 people in a dorm once
  12. I like my box subwoofers! sorry i'm not a fan of cylinders and i want the absolute best subwoofer for price 1200 and down. And i don't mind the size of the sub
  13. I hear everyone's opinion and I understand both sides. I have the promedia ultra's with one sws and the dd 5.1. Let me make somethings clear, I have a single suite dormroom about 12x14. So no blowing amps by roommate nor try to steal them cause there to heavy. with the ultra and sws i could shake the foundation already, even though it is solid brick. I just want those low 20 hertz where the promedia ultras can never reach. And with those speakers I's never let anyone near them.
  14. its a home theather subwoofer section not the ultra, post at the 5.1 section
  15. i wonder if it is the one in my town hmmm

I am alreadly prewired for 6.1(that is adding a rear center right?...) for the future. I am curious how many people have already jumped in to the other standards. I dont think that many dvds take advantage of the other formats yet?... I probably in the not too distant future add a rear center, but to also add two more rear channels is a lot of speakers for one room, how soon before 9.1??? Thanks ---------------- there is a 9.1 yamaha system
  18. i believe the pb2+ has enough 30-80 hertz range and probably loud as hell if u tune it with all the foam out

Really go with the B2-plus, it will do every thing you want, even impress the girls wait till thier skirts jump from the air movement with high db's and spl's think Marilyn on the vent I am talking about with movies here. With music, the svs is a bit harder to dial in for correct responce than HT, unless your reciever allows for seperate setting on HT vs Music. Remember this is just MHO, and yes I do have the B4-plus with Crown K2 The Klipsch is better for music, the svs more FUN, your choice ---------------- damn you lol i want a b4 with crown k2. i might get a pb2 ultra but b4 way out of my league, i may as well try for a krell mrs
  20. imagine if i did lol, no i want the rf 7 set too with a denon 3803 reciever
