Yes I guess you could say 45 degree angle. Just like push it all the way against the wall. You dont want just one woofer right up against the wall you want them both the same distance from each wall.

Im not sure about that glass aluminum wall. But yes I think the port should face the wall. IN an earlier post someone said that it reflects the sound back more or something but I think it gives it more of a kick. Mine sound just awessssoooomeeeeee!

See I dont think that is how you have your sub. When I first got mine i put them that way but the bass sucked. Put it out in the open in a corner in your room and face the port towards a wall. There will be way more bass. I have mine to the left of me in the corner NOT under a desk and it kicks *** I mean butt!

Ok I have a question?? How do you tell how good the midrange is? IM only 18 years old and I got these speakers like almost a year ago I think. I think these speakers are like a dream come true. THEY BUMP. My friends come over and love them. I have Mp3s and most of them are all at 128kbs and they sound so awesome. Im not seeing how you tell if its good or bad midrange I think they sound freaking awesome!!!!!!!

Id be to scared to duck tape them though there just sitting on things and they look beutiful I cant ever get my mom out of my room now she loves these things.
