I was kind of wondering about the beginner level races like how long are they etc. What would be a decent cheap group to get for the ciocc frame. I was kinda looking at the Campagnolo Veloce group but would something from Shimano be better.

I want to start road racing bikes but i don't really know anything about the leagues and stuff. I will be using my stepdad's old Ciocc frame and I'm gonna put Campagnolo stuff on it. Is there a youth league because I'm 14? Any other info would be great Thanks, Taylor

I think the heresys that I just sold have a much better sound although their bass is kind of boomy. I haven't heard the la scalas but if they sound like the belles then I would go with them. If you WERE ok with used heritage you could probably get a used pair of khorns for about 2 grand.
