i paid 850.00 out the door for my RF-35's .. last year. I shopped online but, for the warrnaty purposes i decided on sticking with the local dealer. they broke it down quite simply .. the online store warrentied the speaker but i had to pay shipping to have the speaker fixed if need be ... so the cost of shipping the speaker ONE time compensated the price difference in my mind ...

is there a big differnece between the two ? which is better and why .. any opinions please as iam buying today

can you please explain this ... are ONLY using 2 A/V cables ? FWIW I'm using 2 A/V cables (similar to component video cables) from Radio Shack for my SACD connection. At the time I bought them, the A/V cables were identical in construction to their component video cables but were less money. Not sure if that's still the case. ----------------

I was wondering any alternatives to monster cable... they are 150.00 and iam not to crazy about spending that much ... i read somewhere that one could use any RCA to hook up multichannel inputs ... is there any validity to this ,and will i be losing THAT much quality ? TIA !

i know it has been discussed pretty in depth , but i just wanted to open this subject one more time... i am currently running RF-35's , i am going to be adding my center, here is the question ... i have read that there is VERY little difference between RC-25 & RC-35 ...i can pick up the 25 for pretty cheap , will i be noticing a great differnece or is it something that is not even worth worrying about ? ANY input is greatly appreciated ...

Very nice set up ... my question is... what exactly are the SVS'S ? i assume they are some type of bass "enhancers" ? none the less very nice ! BTW ... anyone know how to connect a Eq to a Denon 3801 .. iam looking to EQ the fronts only . (sorry not meaning to highjack the thread) ... thx in advance .

well my budget does not allow for the RC-35 .. i have listened to the RC-25 matched with the RF-35's and think that it is adequete for my listening habits .. what sites are there to look at .. ive looked at the norm onecall ,ecost,sounddistributors,actually those are the only ones ..any other sites that carry this item .. the cheapest i have found so far is 224.00 shipped . which isnt bad , but i continue to shop ... (wife hates that) iam not really concerned with the defective problem if i can save some dough i will take the risk . thanks for the great input .

WOW ... i had to talk to the wife for a week just to get my rf-35's ... anyhooo , any referrals as to where to check on the rc-25... i would like to get it this week , thanks again for the welcome .

just found this forum wanted to drop in and say "hi" . i am the new proud owner of a awesome pair of RF-35's . iam now looking to buy the rc-25 , any advice where to look to save $ ? my local dealer has offered me the piece for 279.00 little high i think ... any reputable places to suggest this unit . iam a, also in the market for a new receiver , my budget only allows 500 , i dont mind used or "open box" stuff ... again happy to be here , and thanks in advance .
