  1. I have the Audio Authority model and it works great. I noticed no signal degrade at all, and it does all the switching automatically. I would definitely recommend this model, but havent tried any others.
  2. I also was trying to decided between the Rf-25 and Rf-35 a while back and went the the 35's because it sounded more open and seemed to fill the room better.
  3. I just got the analog version about a month ago, but I had a hard time finding it. I couldnt order it online and none of the local stores had it. I finally had one of the stores order from a warehouse in Colorado. So it might be worth a shot to see if the store can get it from somewhere else.
  4. I agree with Todd in this case. Yeah, the prices might be come down over the years but if you dont if you buy a 16x9 HDTV and want to upgrade in a couple of years you can always put the one you just bought in another room. I just bought a 26" 16x9 Samsung HDTV for $600 in January because I didnt see any reason in spending money on something that was going to be obsolete in a few years. You all may disagree, but to me buying 4x3 would be wasting money.
  5. ---------------- It has speaker inputs.... check the spec page here: http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=654 And per the manual.....You run a second set of wires from the same binding posts on your receiver as the mains and run them to this hi level speaker input...... SO your receiver will have 2 wires hooked to each red and black of the left and right main speakers...one goes to the left and right main...and the other goes to the sub.... Check the online manual...it is clearly written and has a nice pic...too... ---------------- Has no one else seen this post? According to the manual it has speaker inputs and out.
  6. So would this plate amp from partsexpress work? http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-792 Would I run the line in and the from the speaker out to my sub or would I run from the speaker connectors on the back of the amp to my sub? Do you think this would provide a better overall sound than running the sub through my mains?
  7. Ok, my question may be a little stupid but bear with me. I have the following: Main - RF35 Center - RC35 Sub - KSW12 & SVW8(passive) R Center - KV3 Surrounds - SF1 I am wondering if there is a cheap way to hook up my SVW8 through my sub out on my Denon 2802? Is there a cheap amp that would allow me to send a sub cable to it and then from the amp with speaker wire? I was wondering about a small plate amp or something similar. This is probably a dumb questions since I couldnt find anything on it so far. If that will not work should I have my mains set to large since the sub has a fixed crossover at 85?
  8. Thanks for the help! I went in to Ulimate today to listen to both the rf-25 and rf-35, and was going to buy in a month or 2 after I had saved up some dough. But they gave me a good deal and I decided to take the plunge and got the rf-35 now, and they let me upgrade my rc-25 to the rc-35 that I have had for 2 months now. Good thing for the 12 months 0% financing! Now I just have to wait a couple of days for the rf-35's.
  9. Thanks for the replies! Thats is what I was thinking, I just wasnt sure how the SF1's would work as surrounds. I guess I better start saving.
  10. I currently have the following: Denon 2802 SF-1 mains RC-25 center KV-3 rear center KSW-12 & a Klipsch 8" Sub (dont know model) I am just using some Kenwood bookshelfs for my rear surrounds. I am considering upgrading my mains to a rf-25 or rf-35 and moving the SF-1's to my rear surrounds. Would I be better off upgrading the mains to one of those or just getting new surrounds? My budget is limited and would pushing it too get the rf-35's. What do you guys think would benefit me the most? My room is probably 15' x 10'.
