Alrightty, Anyone in the know about 1. when dvd audio players may make their debut for cars? 2. when dvd audio recorders may be making their debut for either the home or perhaps when i can record some mp3's on my cpu dvd burner?

I can tell you guys as a law student, and i hope there is a lawyer here to fill in the gaps but selling any product new without a warranty, online or not violates Uniform Commercial Code regulations. Even if there isnt what is called an express warranty, a warranty will be implied to be there.

Hmmm, ok, so my sony has multi channel outputs and I am using my digital coaxle outs to my receiver. Would that not be as good as using the multi channel outputs for 5.1 and up since my DVD player is not a DVD audio player? If thats the case, why would my dvd player even have multi channel outputs on it since it does not play SACD's or DVD-audio? In other words, why use multi channel instead of say Digital optical or Digital Coax Outputs when the player does not play DVD-audio or SACD?

Got a nice sony dvd player and noticed multi channel outs and have inputs on my receiver but neither manual adequately explains what they are used for. So far I am using my coaxle digital out to my receiver along with analog rcas to my tv so what would i use those multichannels out for?

man, you guys have been helpful. Yea. with an all new sony 3000es receiver, klipsch speakers and stereo/tv rack its worth it to get new longer cables. Im just getting digital coax cables for the first time (my previous receiver was a 1993 model). So, now ive got 7.1 150x7 rms@ 8ohms with klipsch rb35's up front, 25's in the back, and rs-25,s for surround. and a rw-10 for the sub.

Griffinator, the reason why I now need longer cables is because my new rack and tv stand have a cable management system whereby I can run the cables inside the side arms, etc and eliminate their unsightly presence giving a cleaner look whereas before, I just ran the cables out of the back of my old entertainment center and there was no need to hide them so the cables could be as long or short as the distance to the actual piece of equipment. Now, I need longer cables to compensate for not being run directly to the equipment but following a path so they are outta sight outta mind. BTW-thanks for the offer, I purchased all my klipsch speakers new on ebay and now have most of my cables. I do foresee me needing more in the future, so when I do, ill holla at ya. Thanks

Ive got an RW-10. I keep all my components hooked up to a nice panamax1000 surge that is on all the time but I keep my components turned off so, when I wanna listen to music, i just hit the power button like usual but the sub isnt like that. Its hooked up to the surge protector also but since its on all the time, the subamp is too. Is this good or bad? should I only turn it on when I use it which is about everyday or every other day?

What are the advantages to hooking up my s-video cable on my dvd player or dss directly to my receiver rather than hooking them up directly with my tv? The receiver doesnt process the video or improve it any right? I have my rca's run through my receiver already so I can listen to movies through my surround sound. IM using a sony es-3000

I recently upgraded from a bulky heavy solid oak room hogging entertainment center to a nice light glass and metal bell'o rack and tv stand. Unfortunately, I was previously using .5 meter length monster 400 interlink II cables to connect most of my components and 1 or 2 meter for the others. Now that the new ent.center has a cable management system to hide those unsightly cables I am stuck with a problem: do I spend the extra money for 6 meter cables or do I buy female connectors and link several of my cables together and save some dough? 1. will I pick up substantial interference from doing this? 2. how much will my audio sound degrade and by doing this am I defeating the purpose of high quality cables? Thx

Hello guys, i got new house and new system. All klipsch reference series speakers and sub. RB-35's up front and 25's in the back (havent bought center and surrounds yet) but my sub is the RW-10 and of course, has a switch in the back of the unit you can set to either on or auto. Why the choice? What does each setting do and how can I determine which one is right for me? Thx

made a good sale of my monster sized cerwin vega speakers and matching stands. Those babies were 75ibs a piece and the stands were solid oak. Since they were 11 years old it was time for them to go on top of my wife *****ing about their size everytime we move. So, we move into our brand new home we just bought thursday (no more rent for me) and which is prewired for surround sound (front/center/rear/rear surround). Off of ebay, I bought brand new a pair of Klipsch RB-35 for front, RB-25 for rear and a sub, RW-10. I know the sub is a little small but I prefer the punchier bass sound. 12 is the biggest i would have gone but i thought the 10 sounded good too. I havent bought the center channel or rear surrounds yet but am looking at: center channel:RC-35 or 25 and the dipole rs 25 or 25. Anyone got any suggestions on the advantages or the smaller/larger woofer size on the rs-25/35 since they are just the surround speakers and dont see all of the use front or rear speakers do?

For the technical guys out there, would there be any difference besides tweeter dispersement in using the Klipsch RS line as my A+B speakers rather than using say the RB line?

nice setup. Are you guys not big sony fans? I just bought the es5000 and love it. I could not see myself paying an extra $2000 for 30 more watts per channel and 1 extra digital output. Dont think the sony sound meshes well with klipsch.?

minus the center channel and sub, I was thinking for front a, rear b using wall mounted either rt-35 or rt-25. For the two surrounds using rs-25. Or of course, I could use all rs-25s or all rt-25s. What do you guys think? How would these bode with both a wide variety of music and 5.1 movies all running at 170 watts

Thx Taurus, thought I put the budget in there but guess I didnt. My budget is around the 250 per speaker (not including center channel and bass unit). I would prefer to go less per speaker but that is the range

OK. So, my cerwin vega loudspeakers are now 11 years old and its time to retire them. Ive just bought a nice sony es-5000 170x7 receiver and im thinking new speakers. I would like suggestions about which klipsch speakers will work best for me.This question is specifically addressing what will be the best front a/b and surround speakers for my system because i will be listening to both a wide range of music and 5.1 dolby digital films and running 170x7 watts into each channel rms 1. I listen to a wide variety of music from frank sinatra to Rap 2. i want speakers I can mount on the wall. Im thinking 6.5 woofers 3. I will be adding a sub 4. total, I will be using the full 7.1 set up. so my system will include 1. a center channel 2. sub 3. 2 fronts 4. 2 rears 5. 2 surrounds I want speakers that are gonna kinda be like my car system. I have a componet system in it. You know, highs and mids to the front, low all through the sub. I want my home system the same way. Highs/mids on the a+bs and surrounds and the bass from the sub. Any suggestions are appreciated. Im sure its gonna lean toward the reference speakers?
