I use and ICE based amp with my CW's and I am happy with it. Extremely black floor.

I'm still happy as a clam...
after getting my initial set up to where it's blended and sounding very integrated, I might be trying different set ups soon... but for now everything is very nice.
for my situation, I am somewhat limited in placement, which I think limits my ability to experiment.

ditto on ice/heritage, I would expect the reference line to be even better... the floor is extremely black with this combo. the only issue I have had is that when I added a pre amp for my turn table it added a bit of hiss... NOT the ice amps fault.
If you are so inclined with a class D, I would not hesitate to purchase ICE and enjoy.

that is somewhat UNTRUE... SOME early four slot PS3 configurations will play/output sacd.

If I could find one locally for that price I would have done it already... Mine was $700 shipped because he only had one, and the best I can find now is about $850'ish

I'd vote config 2... but there is nothing wrong with config 1... nothing wrong with config 4 either.
I think if you actually had any one of those four... the rest of us would be drooling.
