  1. Nice summation, Amy... I couldn't agree more. Men are typically just grown up boys (physically anyway). Not that that's a bad thing. Chicks dig us 'cause we're so philosophically deep. hehehe
  2. Don't be such a grumpy old fart, Colter hehehe I do agree with ya though.
  3. If I did go tubes, and wanted the headroom and slam of ss, is there one particular amp you guys recommend? How many watts will I need to really open it up?
  4. I run a HSU sub and it keeps up with my LaScalas no problem.
  5. B.S. to the Speakerlab horns. My buddy had a set and they weren't as good, I guarantee you. Bry's in Marysville, WA is a HERITAGE STOCKING Klipsch dealer. They have the full line of Heritage and the top end Reference. Google 'em for directions and a phone number.
  6. The old Blister was out doin' her Avon party thingie last night so I popped a couple brewskis and settled in with Cream's 2005 live concert at the Royal Albert Hall. My sub was set for "slight filler... 60hz and volume at 1/3"., and my new LaScalas were cranked to the almost concert level. Holly crap, you can't tell me the music experience gets much better than that. BTW, this music dvd is something else if you like Cream. They're far better now than when they were kids.
  7. Oops, double post... sorry at my daughter's former elementary school gymnasium, they had a single LaScala hanging by chains from the high ceiling.
  8. Yeah, that's about what I figured he'd say. I'm hoping to get about 15 years before needing to upgrade anything.
  9. Dean, I'm quite happy with my new 05 LaScalas, but how many years do you think it will take before I should be thinking about upgrading the networks and such? Ten, fifteen, maybe twenty?
  10. give him my best he is sitting in your chair isn't he?
  11. It's pretty juvenile if you ask me, and when a person's busted, he/she loses all future credibility with me. I hope the Klipsch forums remain pure without the multiple personalities that ruin so many other sites out there.
  12. Thanks BTW, what makes you think Kathy Mason isn't a hairy old naked fat dude? What makes you think I'm a guy?
  13. What store do you have in Bellingham? I'm only 40 miles away. I'd like to come up and visit your store.
  14. I'm not your sweetie. If you're happy with the 7's that's all good. They're ok, just not my cup'a tea.
  15. I'm 53, own my own beach home and have a live-in girlfiend. If she gets too mouthy she knows where the door is. It's her choice to live with me, so don't feel too badly for her. Her rent is cheap and she gets the pleasure of my company and my awesome stereo. hehehe
  16. I ran my RF7's with my sweet Rega gear first and later with a Carver tripath ZR1600 amp (350 watts). Don't tell me I didn't run good gear. Next time you want to make a point I suggest you research your subject rather than just trying to blow smoke up someone's ***.
  17. I had the 7's for about a year. They were ok, but I sorely missed the 3-way Heritage sound. Oh well, I tried, and now I'm home where I belong.
