  1. Anybody besides me interested in these? They look pretty nice. For those that like this type of speaker, what do you think? dwillie.

"Dwillie, don't just give that MT-1200 a new home, give it a new, loving home. Make Meagain a deal she can't refuse. She's right in your back yard, and she really has been curious about amps. Show her what the Crowns are made of."

Well Meagin is welcome to come for a visit I'd say about anytime. I believe it's about a 45 minute trip. Meagin's ears may be used to K-Horns, but we could fire up the mega-watt Crown through the La Scala's and with a few nice choices of music....................................................Better yet, bring the K-Horns and we'll run all four!! dwillie.

  3. Thanks again rigma,....... nice talking to you on the phone. You should have that check in your hands by now. I appreciate you working with me on the shipping thing.

Oh boy,..... Whooooo----Hoooo! Can't wait to get those Crowns home and in my rack! If these are as nice as I believe they are, I'll be looking for a new home for my Micro-Tech 1200 and DC150A (Shameless, aren't I ?) Of course, all proceeds will go back into buying more Heritage gear. If anyone has "an ear to the ground" and hears of some Heresy's in need of some work, or Heresy's Industrial, please let me know. I wouldn't mind a fix-er-up pair. Adds a little fun to the mix. dwillie.

  4. "Dwillie, isn't that MT 1200 like 405 watts per side into 4 ohm cabinet 20-20K?"

I bought my Micro-Tech new so I grabbed the paperwork and owners manual. It says: 295 watts @ 8ohms stereo, 400 watts @ 4 ohms stereo, 790 watts @ 8 ohms Bridged Monaural. All this 20 to 20k, FTC Continuous Average Power. d.

  5. Sorry rigma, but I missed that PM. Did not get your message. But....I will take two of the Crown DC300II's @ $275.00 each. SHMBO would probably frown on all three and that breaks my heart, but at least that leaves something for the others to enjoy. My PM on this site must be not working (?) so if anybody wants to contact me, use my personal email. Here it is for all to see. dwillie57@comcast.net rigma, I'll wait to hear from you. dwillie.

  6. I have a pretty simple set-up Michael. I use two Heresy's for stage monitors with the DC150 running stereo, and the Micro-Tech is sending 295 conservative watts in stereo to a pair of La Scala's. I play small rooms in a four piece group and it's plenty but if I can find 3 DC300A's, I'd sell the Micro-Tech and 150, plus add another pair of La Scala's. Oh Boy!! Someday I'll get my hands on some commercial speaks like I hear you have. There's just something truly beautiful about a rack with 3 matching Crowns. d.

  7. I know this is an older post but I just discovered it. Thanks for the tips. I've known how to get to the list of start ups, but could never decipher what all the descriptions meant. Are there any sites that explain what each program is and helps turn all the jibberish into program names? Thanks, Don.
