  1. excellent thread. i've had wonderful SS equipment since a teenager. but, all the conversation about tubes is in a whole different language. looking forward to reading the other thread and actually listening to tube driven music.

    thanks!

  2. I have ForteIIs as mains and have an academy center with two KG1.5s as surrounds. Also helps that I have a SVS subwoofer.

I agree with fletch, the KG line matches pretty well with the Forte speakers. But, if you can afford an Academy it's an awesome center channel speaker. Otherwise KG. Sure, more Forte as surrounds sounds good; but few rooms can accomodate; if so KGs

  3. For DiMarco to lose his 3 stroke lead in the finish of the 3rd and come back to tie Tiger takes nuts. period. DiMarco is not finished. He's young and will be back.

I caddie for a Nike Tour event a few years back. We were paired with a fresh out of college kid on Thursday and Friday named: Chris DiMarco.

  4. I was in the same place about 4 months ago. First, the center channel speaker is the most important addition. The top of the line match is a speaker called the Academy. Klipsch doesn't make them any more, but every once in awhile another forum member will offer one up for sale, but several other members are looking for one. The other possibility of where to find on is on ebay. That's where I got mine. Other possibility are other Klipsch Classis speakers such as the KG line. A KG 2.2 or 2.5 would work. For a center channel speaker unless you are using a project TV, you'll want to get a model with a V after it. These are sheilded. These speakers will each match your Fortes well. For the other surround speakers, additional forte, or chorus or quartets would match but be fairly large speakers. Also, again the KG line matches well. I currently use a pair of KG1.5s. But, I'm bidding on a pair of KG2s on ebay right now to upgrade.

Finally, you'll want a subwoofer. I bought an SVS subwoofer and it rocks. But, Klipsch makes excellent subwoofers also. Subwoofers don't really have to "match" nearly as much as the others. Good luck and have fun with it. I have.

  5. Looking forward to your impressions. I'm about to buy a pair of RB-75s for myself. But, not one authorized dealer in Austin, Texas (and there are 5) have a pair of RB-75s available to listen in a two channel mode. Seems ridiculous, but it's true.
