  1. 4) Cleaning dirt our of clothes - crank up the bass.. dirt vibrates out. Also usefull for carpet 5) Feet warmer - crank up the sub, place feet on metal back..feet get warm
  2. I just started to fool aound and it started to look cool.. I am by no means finished.. many ideas and I know it is not very clear.. converted to jpg with high compresion to get to 20K ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  3. Im sure there is if ya feel like messin with the amp. I would think there is only a current limiter or something that could be bypassed.. My sub works good enough.. Build a House Wrecker sub box and put a 10 or 12" in there.. that is when you get bass. Ideally.. putting my 4.1 in the basement..concrete floors.. thin walls mm more bass. Or.. removing carpet in my dorm room.
  4. Do you feel air movement of the port? If ya do.. the sub is working. It is not made to be boomy and it helps to put it under a desk or in a corner It really depends on the song you are trying to play. I had to go to my Ultimate Dance Party 1997 CD thru my stereo in ordre to get decent sound at first. Placement also does a lot.. at home, my desk was made of thicker wood but here my desk is thinner so it resonates better but I am going to be putting it in a corner over teh weekend to compare The bass I have when setting my sub in the middle of my room is not really thumpy. I'll need a bigger driver for that <10-12" downfiring> but Im not worried about that since it sounds fine when I'm at my computer with sub under desk. Also.. remember this is only 6" drivers that you are playing with.. they move only a certain amount of air and will do only so much. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1

  7. You welcom for the link.. altho the paintjobs are a bit expensive I think
  8. better.. but ya can always run the cheaper at that FSB speed.. my 1G is a 100x10 but Im running it at 133x7.5 as for DDR.. I would not get the PC1600 but 2100.. so it will probably be best to stick with pc133. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  9. Easiest way is to hook them up to you input of the soundcard.. but of course you'll have to have your computer on when ya want to use it. Else ya can get some Y-adapters and that should work Or ya can make you own cable with diodes in there to make sure the signal flows in the correct direction That should work but it has been a while since I played with diodes Good Luck.. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1

  12. Anything but a Delta Black Label.. Im feeding mine 7V at the moment to keep it quiet till my case fans come and I can close my case up. I'm sure teh Orb will be quiet enough Also, putting a computer together is very easy as long as you take your time and read included documents. It didn't talk long at all to get my system together. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  13. Take a look at my package.. I love it. Take a look at the new GlobalWin Heatsink if ya can get it Get a Copper shim .. better safe than sorry.. Also, are you buying from a place that will put it together? or seperate parts? I would go with seperates and put it together yourself.. I love my HD.. SBLive! 5.1 is cool, I went with a cheaper DVD <12X> but it works fine. Look into Belkin SurgMaster but It is handy.. ya can turn off certain things.. What else.. case: I like mine.. will be better after a few mods of course and once I finally get case fans for it I spent a little more on RAM in hopes to OC but I dont know how far I can push my CPU.. That about does it for now.. good luck. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  14. ohhh.. HTS are so nice.. my brother has one and it is awesome. Remember that the Pros are really a 3 driver system - tweeter, small woofer, small subwoofer. Here is his system coupled with a 36" TV and housed na room smaller than my 12x12 dorm.. and yes it is expensive 2Ce Fronts, 1Ce rears, VCC-1 center AVP-9080 PreAmp, AM-9080 Amp No subwoofer du to lack of space but the 2 10"ers do well in the room I would have like to have seen the Subwoofer tho but I'm sure he will settle with what he has at the moment. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  15. I agree.. it is created.. seems too clear for that much motion and it is also signed.
  16. LOL.. not enough bass.. hehe. Wattage don't mean anything if the drivers can't handle it. You could get urself a 200W 6" sub.. but it wont do any good... cause the 6" will give only soo much bass. More wattage is needed only for larger drivers becuase of thir moving mass and pressure that is created . Sounds like the bass that you are looking for is something from a 10 or 12" driver. My 4.1 have plenty of bass.. actally too much at times to where I turn the sub down.. really depends on what I am doing - Im no bass freak.. I would rather have accurate bass thna a lot of it. I got tired of boomy, distorted bass - does nothing for ya. As for the control pods.. try adjusting windows volume while your in a game.. 4.1 is plenty.. If anything, your best bet would be to get the 4.1 and then add a powered center and a larger sub to it like a 10 or 12" but even that would be overkill.. remember, you will really only be using the potential of your 6.3 setup when you watch DVDs.. but hey.. whatever floats your boat.. enjoy and have fun - I just hope the end result is what you really want. Best of luck. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  17. Here.. did a quick search. http://www.flightmasters.net/sonic.html There are many pages that have this posted. 18. LOL.. ya.. and in a 12x12 cell.. I mean dorm room, the bass is amazingly loud.. I have to set my sub/bass level to below normal I think my desk resonates a bit too much for the Pros.. but I like the chest pounding. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  19. I wouldn't worry about a new Card.. the Value will do just fine. save the money. I don't really think there is much of a difference soundwise between the two but I have only really heard my Live! 5.1 with Pros. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny ProMedia 4.1
  20. Make sure the wires inside the mini are not touching. Other than that, I'm not sure since I have not looked at the insides of a mini. I will probably just stick with the stock cable since they sound great already and I would rather save the money at this time..
  21. I would rather have better sats, 1 control pod and a great sub than have to mess with 2 pods and 2 subs all of the time .. the 4.1 are fine.. you shouldn't really notice a difference with 2 seperate subs since LFE is non-directional. Only goodside to the 2.1 sub is the lack of the limiter, but I don't mind mine - keeps the music etc. accurate and not boomy.
  22. Make sure when you insert the bare wires into teh spring clips that you do not insert them too far as the insulation will make contact and not the wire. Pull them out a little - use a flashlight if you have to -
  23. doing a quick 2 channel sound test.. oooo so nice even without the sub placed right Thanks Klipsch!!!
  24. Just got em.. hehehe.. nice box too.. not a plain brown one..
  25. Just be thankful it is not a down-firing sub
