Ok the 85 La Scalas have landed and I am going to have Dean built a pair of networks for them,I am also going to damp the horns,Is dynamat better than rope caulk?and should the tweeter horn be damped as well?thanks Mike

my 85s have metal horns,I think its the AL-3 but I could be wrong,the 85s have the AL in them and will need to be replaced for best results

looking for a vintage tube integrated to use with my la scalas,prefer one that has been gone through and has a phono stage.I have a pair of vtl mb-100 monoblocks that are a bit of overkill so would consider trades.scott,fisher,eico,etc.Also have a pair of high end speakers that need a new home and would consider trades on those as well,thanks

Trying to get a response on this amp,is it still for sale?very interested,also how is the phono section in these amps in general?

MG SI 15 DT was the quietest tube amp I have ever owned,just dead black silence.5 watts triode 15 pentode,that is one amp I wish I would have kept.

Yes those are the ones and I went ahead and commited to the purchase,will drive down in a couple weeks and haul them back.maybe play with the x-overs next.

I have located someone that has a pair not to far from me.I have some more questions for you gurus out there as i am new to this.they appear to be in good shape and are 1985 model with the AL crossovers,any help and advice would be appreciated.

Anyone have a pair they are willing to sell in illinois?I am looking to purchase my first pair of klipsch horns and these sound like the best bet.Maybe even a pair of cornwalls to get my feet wet
