What are these?
-
In stereo, just got through watching my first flick. Could've sworn I turned the TV sound off 5 times. Never new the Corns were there. What's up? Outstanding experience, but who should get the accolades?
-
Dock,
Congrats Newbie!. How long did you wait before you tripped the switch?
Got pics?
-
JW,
If you paint your Corns, I'll start listening to Rap.

Ya had to figure this would happen. Wonder what the "thong song" sounds like on a pair of K-Horns. You think they're a good rap speaker?

Series 1 Cornwall and or Heresy squawkers and tweets? Just the wooden motorboard area? Should be a relatively easy job. Anybody? What would be
the effect?
-
Where are ya JW? Should have a message in private section or whatever.
-
Do so, but you will not find Klipsch in the store anymore.
The old professor got upset when they went mainstream. Tried
to talk him into the Heritage line only, but he would have no part
of it. Klipsch really needs to keep the line as I will turn on
countless others to it's incredible sound.
Legion of Croom member,
Where'd you go to HS?
-
We might need to take this to Genespage.
-
I'm scared...what this might produce. Listening to Klipsch always makes we want to buy something...
OK, you talked me into it.
-
Holy B&^%$,sh!T. No way, you're kidding. Remember the old professor at Ideal who new PWK personally? Remember listening to the 1812 oveture on
K-horns, or anything else for that matter?
Yes, I've purchased from them twice. Both times Klipsch, sold both pair of those Heresy's (I know where both pair are) always desiring the Cornwall's.

Andy,
Some yellowish looking material was removed with the acetone, so this had to be the lacquer, correct?
I should then remove the lacquer with Acetone and then apply your recommended treatment. I seem to be
attracted to your way because of the non-use of steel wool and or sand-paper. There was some thread that I read
a while back where somebody published a information on a very fine white Scotchbrite product? You know what it is,
exactly?

I live in Bowling Green, KY via Tupelo, MS (Big Mississippi State Fan) Got introduced to Klipsch while in school, and at Ideal Acoustics in Starkville, MS (Ideal is a big advertiser on Audiogon). Parents used to live at the POLO Fields. You know it?
-
I understand that I may need some work with my power source? All I can tell you is that I enjoy every freakin thing I hear out of the Cornwalls.
-
Where did you go? Again? My parents used to live in Cumming.
-
After 22 years of waiting, the CWL's are hooked up and performing admireably. Unbelievably good condition. All original. I was the Bozo that took these off of Audiogon, in case anybody was wondering. The long drive was well worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The only issue that I may have is that they appear to be thirsty and I had to remove some standard wall paint from a few areas with Acetone. Should I use BLO? Tung Oil? Remove the varnish with Acetone? Good greif!, sharp corners abound, not hardly a nick anywhere. Already replaced the velcro...Jump in, this is my first post!
I will post picture's shortly.
