Why has Klipsch abandoned the pro line? It seems that they have the parts, the designs, the manufacturing site to do it. It would seem like a no brainer to me.

Hey Duder, They look nice I like them. As far as glueing the badges on I like to use a hot glue gun. If the badges fall off (which they haven't in my case) you can remove any residual glue from the fabric easily. Mark

How are you digging the new Heresys? That guy in North Syracuse continues to have pairs and singles listed on E-bay all of time. I wonder if he's legit and if so where does he get them from. Mark
-
Yeah, that guy was real strange.

Hey all. I've been looking at my lighting setup. It's rudimetary. Anyways I've been reading up and researching DMX. From what I understand I need a controller and if I were to use standard incandescant par cans I would need a dimmer pack as well. I was thinking why not ditch the par cans and upgrade to the new LED ones then I wouldn't need a dimmer pack. That is correct right? What are some good controllers to look at? I'm not talking arena size lighting here. They're coming out with lots of cool LED lights right now. Mark

Oh, I didn't realize it was you Claude. I've already established that you're completely insane. I'm getting there.

That's a nice setup there Xmas.

So, do you still have it? What became of it? How did it sound? I don't think that Bob ever claimed to be the originator of the "Cornscalas" anyways. Thanks for sharing the pic.

Very cool. I wish Klipsch would start making pro stuff again. My KP-301's had flying hardware on them mounted after they were manufactured. But they had large aluminium plates behind them and they used lots of them. Not to hijack your thread but you're welcome to have them for free if you want them. There's about 1 dozen of them. I'll take a pic if you're interested. Otherwise I'll take them in for scrap next time I go. Mark

Yeah, I heard about this when it came out but was hesitant to try it out. I'll check it out now. Thanks for the heads up. Mark

Hey all, I'll be heading to the Chicago area for four days (Halloween weekend). My son is graduating from Great Lakes (Navy Boot camp). What are some things that you must see? Thanks in advance. Mark

Deoxit would help too. Mark

Very cool story! Enjoy 'em!

I recently purchased an Infocus LP540 from Ebay. I don't have the room right now to set it up permanately. I know that IndyKlipschfan and Colterphoto had a backyard drive in show before. I'd like to do the same thing before the end of summer. My only concern is the bugs. I don't want bugs attacking the lense and getting goo all over it. Will this be an issue? Can a piece of glass be placed over the lense without affecting the image quality too much? This little unit works pretty well so far for me. Mark

Mike, That's cool. Thanks for the info. Mark

I'm not familiar with the Carver unit. I'm sure it will sound swell. Do you have a preamp with XLR outs or a mixer? Mark
-
Yeah
Yeah. You are welcome. The KP-301 is essentially a Chorus I in pro configuration.

I think the best bang for the buck would be a "Nosvalved" Scott 299 for starters. Mark

Sorry Henri, I mistook you for someone else. Anyways this fella was picking up some Klipschorns from a freight place and when they brought them out someone took a pic of his wife. The expression on her face was priceless. I thought it was you.
-
Wrench, Are you still married? That picture you posted of your wifey when you went to pick up the Klipschorns was priceless. Mark
