  1. Thanks James. I have the XPA-5 running my front stage (l/c/r) and my side surrounds. For now the 3900 is running the back surrounds. I have a set of RS-62's and RS-52's on the way to replace my current surround speakers.
  2. The picture doesnt do it justice. Its actually pointing down directly to the listening position. It sounds great in the position it is in now. I had it in line with the fronts on a stand but decided to move it above the tv. It sounds identical above the tv as it did right in your face (eq'd and distance set accordingly).
  3. Here are some updated Pictures of my setup. More to follow.
  4. I second the Harmony One. Its easy to setup and works great.
  5. I auditioned both the rf-63's and 83's in my house and liked the 83's better. I agree with Fotog about the klf-20 vs the 30's as I owned both and liked the 20's better. The rf-83 just filled up my room better and had a more distinct low frequency response. Now, both speakers sound incredible and my listening environment is different from yours so take that into consideration. Plus, as another poster stated, it will cost you more to buy the 63's now and then upgrade to the 83's later if you get the bug. I dont think you will be unhappy with either speaker. On another note, have you shopped around for prices on the RF-83's? There are authorized dealers out there where you could get the speakers significantly cheaper than what you said you can get them for. I just purchased the RF-83's and RC-64 recently from an authorized dealer so you can contact me for the information. Hope this helps.
  6. I was one who felt the KLF-20's were superior to the 30's as I owned both. As far as the 83's vs 63's, I like the 83's better. I had my friends 63's in my house while waiting for my 83's to come in and the 83's just had more presence. The 63's are kick *** speakers but just not the same as the 83's imo.
  7. The One is great. It has a great feel to it with large buttons not seen previously on Harmony remotes. It also has nice touch screen functionality to control your devices and activities. The remote is very responsive and easy to setup. I would highly recommend it.
  8. Sounds about right although I can flip flop Yamaha and Denon back and forth. I have owned both brands high end units and they sound similar to me.
  9. It's for bi-wiring the speakers. I believe its to seperate high and low frequencies (could be wrong). You can purchase bi-wire cable or use a bridge to connect the two sets of terminals.
  10. Thanks for the info everyone! I guess I will wait for a pair of KSP-S6's. I dont mind paying the premium price for them, its just finding them thats the problem. If anyone comes across a seller, please send them my way! Thanks!
  11. Its so tough to find a pair of KSP-S6. As of right now, if I cant find a set of KSP-S6 in the near future, I may break down and order a set RS-35's or the THX KS-525. I mainly will use these speakers for movies. Any thoughts as to how either of these sets will perform as surrounds? LOL, I just noticed I spelled Legends wrong in the heading!
