  1. My older brother 2 yr old sony pentium 4 crashed from a virus. I was hearing other peoples rumors that apple computers have no viruses. What really gets me mad, is that he just lets the virus comes in, and is to lazy to delete them. My Dad and I had to clean out 2 computers from Trojan/virus, the labtop had 168 trojan horse/virus, and the compaq had 165 trojan/virus in the mainland about 3 yrs ago. He destroys computers like nothing.[:(] Right now, he is on a slow pentium 3 computer. I was thinking about a apple computer for him? Only thing he does is music, aol chat, and forums. LOL "So my question is does apple computers have viruses like pc computers." thanks...

  2. As I understand it, THX certification for a multimedia system requires that the device exactly reproduces a Dolby digital soundtrack as it is meant to be experienced in a (THX certified) movie theatre. That is, in surround sound.

Yeah, your correct. Still comes to me but, what about the Klipsch promedia 2.1. That is also THX certified.

  3. I would say in my opinion that its superior stereo. 4.1 systems are ment for music and 5.1 systems are ment for movies in my opinion. The difference is that 4.1, the speakers would play everything it signals, and 5.1 mostly all the voice comes out from the center channel. The surround speakers are ment for the explosion effects etc. If you listen mostly to music like me, I always keep my system on 4.1 mode instead of 5.1.

  4. Filled up a Suburban this morning. $104.02 (40 gallon tank). The numbers go by so fast, it's too hard to round off to the nearest dollar anymore. It's a company vehicle that we use off road and for hauling equipment. We really need a big hog but ouch.

$104.02! Wow thats insane! [:o] Good thing technology keeps coming out with better stuff, like the hybrid cars and suvs.

  5. I have heard the Quintets last week. Sounds great for a hometheater in a box setup in my opinion, beats my Onkyo HTIB and my Panasonic HTIB. The bass hits are not bad for 3 1/2 speaker, but it still needs a subwoofer. By the way, what are you planning to pair with the speakers, the reciever or the speakers? Sub-10 or the Sub-12 will match it perfectly. Gotta have the bass with the Quintets.[:D]

  6. Imagine the Noise Can. Bose Headphones. I was crazy enough to demo there bose headphones at the bose dealer, because I thought it didn't have enough bass. I placed my Bass CD in the bose headphones and... wow! I don't know if I was imagining things, but I thought that the Headphones was compressing my head, due to the Air pressure . LOL TOO MUCH BASS For Even Me! Makes your ears hurt after a while.
