I wasn't excited about the movie itself - it wasn't as good as I thought it would be....the only thing that saved it for me was the penguins. The Penguin Christmas was a hoot -- they should have shelved the movie and let the feature-ette at the end be released on it's own. Forget the movie - go to the Penguins instead

Womanthing, you must be quite a unique individual if songs like Tush, Gun Love, and Tube Snake Boogie get you into the Holiday spirit. [:^)] [] This week, a friend of mine suggested that I pick up Honky Chateau by Elton John (1972). Pop music never really did much for me but I have to admit that I really liked this. There is some truly fine musicianship on this album that I never really associated with Elton John. I think it's been remastered and it does sound nice. Contains "Rocket Man" and "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters". "Unique" is one words that has been used to describe my personality .... It took 3 husbands to finally find one who enjoys being associated with someone like me! Actually Viva Las Vegas, Cheap Sunglasses, Sharp Dressed Man and Legs are what I enjoy most about this cd. And you know, anyone can wrap gifts & bake to regular Christmas music - it takes someone different to do these things differently. Regarding your pick - I still love Honky Cat probably best of anything other than Yellow Brick Road that Elton John released. Good pick!

Happy After Thanksgiving! Glad it's over & the leftovers are finally gone! If Sputnik is still looking for romantic music this might be one to add to your list.....there are women who find Bob Seger's voice apealing....There are a couple songs on here that bring back good memories for this once young lady.
