  1. Let me know how you like them and if the cage will fit using the KT-150s.  They won't on my Dialogue Premium HP.  No big deal to me as I enjoy an unobstructed view of the tubes.  Even using KT-120s there is a nickel width of clearance from tube to cage.

    Very nice present!

I actually bought a bottle of Proof last night.  Best Old Fashioned I've ever made along with being incredibly easy.  Ill use it with some of my lesser favorite bottles.

I use half the Proof recommended since I don't like sweet drinks.  Make these giant square ice cubes too.

All this stocking stuffing going around, from the beginning of all of that none of this was the first thing that popped into my head. I pictured nice legs not Carl's or Richie's legs, a whole different version, the good kind not the hairy ugly ones.

Remember what Bruce Springsteen said in "Tougher Than The Rest".  "Well 'round here baby I learned you get what you can get".

  4. Congrats grasshopper on the speakers.  Did you have a special selection of music to play first or did you just play a Marie Osmond CD like Coytee does each time he changes gear?

Suppose to have a storm here tonight with thunder and lightning......gonna kick Santa's butt.

New shed built.....one guy did it all in 6 hours including shingling the roof.  When he arrived I asked him where the rest of his crew is and he laughed.  Some panels were pre cut to size though you get to choose were the door and window are placed.  I chose the optional package of premium shingles and floor joists on 12" centers.  My painter put a coat of marine spar urethane on all the interior and Sherwin Williams acrylic latex on the exterior.  Been ordering storage items from Amazon.  As Paul Harvey would say......."now you know the rest of the story".

I hope all my CCC&C buds have a great Christmas.  Just be warned when Carl gets into the hard stuff he likes to make gushy, late night phone calls......bless his heart.

last time I did that, I got a ticket. Cop asked me why I was doing 94 mph.  I told him that I didn't know why; but my Dad was a cop and he died at a young age.  he said he'd write me the ticket for 65 in a 55 zone so that I didn't have to appear in court (since I was in central California, hours from home).

I remember that story Steve.  You, in the peak of your earning years, commissioned a well known bike builder to create something really special.  I think you named it "The Belle Taco Mangusta S with Gull Wing Doors and Extra Cheese".  That thing was a beast and the biggest challenge was getting all the name on the fuel tank.   What did you ever do with it....I mean besides get tickets?

OK, I'm confused.  Why do you need the Node?  I thought you could use your phone as an interface so you wouldn't need to go to your lap top to do things?

Well here's the thing.  When I retired I also retired my phone.  And I recalled why just the other day when I was sitting in the barbers chair and looked out at those waiting and no one was talking to each other.  They were all staring into their phone.

How do you like the Node?  How are you interfacing with it?   I think that will be my next audio purchase.

The Node 2i works fine with my laptop and Windows 8.1.  I make play list on the lap top with Tidal and then play it through the Node.  If I want to delete a song or edit I have to go back to lap top/Tidal to do that.  That seems a bit cumbersome but I'm not a techie so.........

I think SWL mentioned he was having some difficulty getting the Node to recognize Qobus.  Wonder if he got it sorted out?

If I remember correctly, Chevron claims to put Techron in their gasoline...

That's right grasshopper.  I don't think we have any Chevron stations around here though.   The bottle Techron is suppose to be more concentrated.

  9. Up date on the sticky injectors (Z4 BMW).  Googled best fuel system cleaners and Chevron has a product called Techron that was rated well.  Poured in a bottle with gas tank 1/4 full.  Drove it about 20 miles then filled up.  Took it out on a stretch of the interstate with little traffic and took it up to 110 mph. No further problem.  Repeated the process on the next fill up.  Bought a 6 pack from Amazon and will use it time to time.  Also put a bottle in LFs Volvo XC60.
