Just finished prep on the roast. Poked holes and inserted garlic, covered all sides in Kerrygold Irish butter, Susie Q spice blend, garlic and Rosemary blend. Cut off the bone and tied at the butcher's shop.
I do the 500 degree method for 30 minutes, turn off oven and do not open the door till 120 internal temp, rest for 30 min.
Seems to work well.......

Merry Christmas to all the CCC&C gang. Have a great holiday!
The LF and I exchange one present each. She gets a 5 pound box of See's candy from California and I got a half gallon of Elijah Craig bourbon. Old CCC&C member minermark got us hooked on the See's when he gifted us a box.
All the fixings have been purchased for both big meals so little left to do. Swanky the Norwich Terrier will get prime rib left overs.
Winter is here and will be 19 by morning Christmas eve.
Landscaping crew worked half a day landscaping by the hot tub deck. Looks good.

Hey Dave....I have the PrimaLuna integrated too. Mine is the HP version with 8 power tubes (currently KT-120s). Also have the original octet of EL-34s.
No colds or flu here yet. Don't know which of my supplements to credit but I take a ton of them. Maybe it's the vitamin C or Elderberry? Anyway you ailing folks get better soon.
LF and I used the new hot tub last night at 38 degrees temp outside. Getting down to 22 degrees Saturday.
So what feast are you guys planning? Christmas Eve we are going to copy a recipe I saw on the food channel.....a whole side of Salmon on a bed of Shallots and citrus slices. Picked up a standing rib roast for Christmas day. On sale at Publix for $5.79/lb.

KLH speakers was a collaboration of three well known audio guys as I recall. The K was Koss (headphones), L was Lansing (Altec Lansing), and H was Hirsch of Hirsch/Houck Labs. Please excuse spelling.....going by old recollection.

Procedure complete. Went well but they sent me home with a catheter. I took it out at 6:30 this morning. Burns like hell when I pee and that will last a while. Just glad it's over.
Growing old is not for sissies..........

It looks like those plastic strings they attach tags to clothing. Like a close line with an upright on either end. Dreading the procedure but it will be good to pee with a strong stream and empty completely so I don't have to get up 3 times a night.

The prostrate grows as we get older pushing on the uretha until you only dribble rather than a full flow.
The urilift puts a solid tube through to the bladder and staples each side of the prostrate back. Hopefully you will then be able to put out house fires with the increased force of the stream....kinda like a fire hose🙂

Still stimulating the economy or I should say LF is. Put an aluminum fence with brick columns around the back yard, mega landscaping, and a sidewalk on the other side of the house. Just got plans and an estimate for a free standing deck with pergola to house the new hot tub LF ordered. She swears it will make me feel like a new man?
So what did I buy? A JB4 tuning module for the Z4. Makes it scoot a little more. The company that installed it was not up to snuff on some things. I had asked if I could monitor and change maps (power increase) from my tablet and they said I could. After installation they tried the app on my windows 10 tablet without success. After waiting to hear back I called the module supplier who advised that the module is not compatible with Windows! It still works but I can't monitor what power it's making or use any of the other features. I had paid $150 for the module to be supplied with bluetooth for that purpose.
Internet okay here but I still don't have a cell phone. Not a priority for me plus someone may call me if I did have one!
Leaving LF's place and headed to my house to blow pine straw off the roof.

LF heading north (VA) for three days for a wedding. I made a large pot of chili (no beans) yesterday and she made mac & cheese and an apple fritter for me. Neither Swanky nor I will starve.
Slight ear pain from over vigorous cleaning so listening may be compromised for a day.
Maybe I'll give Gary over at RTM a call and catch up as we do from time to time. He loves to talk music and gear.

I think the question was for me so I posted the picture. They are Spatial Audio M4 Sapphires. Open baffle as you can see. Ordered the optional Sapele wood baffle. After three pairs of horns I wanted to try something different.
And yes I have heavy curtains for that window with the reflection.

No the car is completely stock. A ceramic coating and new Michelin's. Only 36,000 miles though. I have been quoted 1K for the module, installation, and two pulls on the dyno. Tech says maybe 80hp/70 pounds of torque increase can be expected and I get to watch the dyno test. Not sure where in my neck of the woods I could use all that power with our traffic.
Your advice is well taken!
