Speaking of cars I'm going to drop a little over $1000 next week to remove and replace transmission fluid and filter on the BMW Z4. Pan has to come off and the bolts replaced. Have a small leak.
Replaced the air filter, cabin filter, and wiper blades this week.

41 and clear. May have turned the corner with Covid. Feeling better and appetite has returned after losing 15 pounds in 22 days.

Just wondering how long this post Covid fatigue will last. Don't have the energy to swat a fly! No music and only a couple of drinks in the past month! Guess I need to start shopping for old age homes😑

I've wondered about Tommyboy. Young guy off to Afghanistan as I recall. Was a regular on CC&C. I have sent him a couple of messages over the years with no response. Hope he is well and enjoying other interest.

I used a Schiit SYS for a bit with QS Horn Monos. A passive preamp with volume control and 2 inputs. Around $55 on Amazon.

50 and cloudy here. Making chili using a chuck roast. 10 hours in the crock pot so should be ready for dinner.

Happy New Years gents. Spent the afternoon in the hot tub with lady friend. Then martinis with blue cheese olives. Next prime rib steaks with shrimp. Hope fully no fire works to scare the dog Swanky. See you on the flip side!

There is not much difference in the EVO series and the previous model. If budget is a concern look for a Dialogue HP Premium used. 8 power tubes up to the KT-150. I bought one used a couple of years ago with 8 EL-34 tubes and 8 KT-120 for $3000 shipped. The Quicksilver Horn Monos are a great match if you can find them. They are now discontinued. 25 wpc and self biasing. I have good luck on usaudiomart.com.

usaudiomart has a pair listed for $1500 in Kansas. Distressed Oak but with a few scratches.
There is another pair on usaudiomart in Florida for $2000.

I was president of a softball league (the Bar League) in the 80's and our league was sponsored by a beer distributor. Since he gave us money I tried to drink his products at our games. The problem? He sold Old English 800, Weidemann, and Pabst.🤮

On the Carolina coast Hurricanes love overhead lines. Take em down as fast as possible. Ice storms though rare do the same.
If I was to build another house it would have a whole house generator.

The Bubble got a salon treatment this week. The transmission was leaking fluid so it got a new pan with gasket and bolts, a new filter to filter 8 quarts of fluid, and oil and filter change, air filter, cabin air filter, wiper blades, topped off the coolant, state inspection.
12 year old Z4 with 41,000 miles. A 35is twin turbo, with a Burgar JB4 tune. An in practical car but it's daddy's baby.
That's about all my excitement and most of my money for the week.....
