  1. Amy,

Ever thought about getting him his own personal tv and dvd player? May be cheaper then a psychiatrist for you in the future...

But seriously Buddy still watches The Wiggles occasionally and we too have it on DVD.

We used to have Bob the Builder, Elmo, Dora the Explorer, Oobi and a few others 12 hours a day. Can imagine seeing the Wiggles on a 65 inch t.v.? It is horrifying!. It was torture.... pure torture. I have got to say it hasn't gotten much better now that he is 5. We now watch Dora's cousin's show along with Yu Gi Oh and Power Rangers( I wish a bad guy would take the power rangers out with a bolt of lightening or something like that).

As for what it is about that show? I think that it is because they have songs that the kids can remember and they can participate by dancing and all.

Makes you wonder what they will grow up like watching these shows... whatever happened to normal cartoons like the Smurfs and Heman and Sheila? Oh man now I know how my parents feel. No wonder we have 5 T.v's in this house.

  2. Now the bignets (spelling?) they sell down there? OH YEAH. Had one of those on Super Bowl Sunday four years ago on Bourbon St. My mom was right about those - you gotta have one when in the bayou.

You can make them at home ... sort of ... beignets are fried biscuits sprinkled with powdered sugar....it is another great coonass food [:D]

  3. I would opt to get one through a company such as Sprint, Nextel, or Cingular. The problem with prepaid phones is the airtime. You buy them as you need them but there tends to be an out where the company takes so many minutes a day if the phone is used or not so you end up losing minutes. Also alot of the prepaid phones do not work in as many places as the phones through a national carrier. But then again that is what i have found.... You may do better talking to a few people in the area you live in and ask what they think about their cell company... Hope this helps

  4. Not in any partiular order:

Skeleton Key ( twisted but cool)

40 Year Old Virgin ( a laugh for anyone old enough to watch)

The Wedding Date ( okay a girlie one for us chicks)

Love Song for Bobbie Long (seems long but it pays off)

lol mine is a top four thanks to Katrina

  5. I am having some problems with my Hp laptop and could use some help. We repainted my room after fixing some of the damage caused by Katrina. We packed up 90% of the things in the room and somehow in the packing my fiance placed the laptop in the box with some other things and it was stored outside on the the second floor porch during the cold weather which I did not know abot till bringing the boxes in and unpacking.

Now I am having a problem with starting the computer. It was a passworded startup but now when You start it up it goes to the background screen with no Icons and the only way to use the computer is to hit controll-alt-delete. Once I hit controll-alt-delete I have no problem with the way it runs but the altered startup has me worried.. Any ideas?

  6. I know ... this is a old thread... but i have to agree... it was a good story but it did have several boring moments in the movie... and personally I think he should have waxed his chest... .... but that is just me ;)

  7. Great movie! The younger group in our household rented 7 movies weekend before last and this was the best one of all we rented! A laugh a minute. The waxing scene was funny but the best was the female anatomy that felt like sandbags.
