  1. Oscar that is all the stuff I told him[] only in nurse speak. I am so glad my Dad is home. Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts everyone has sent our way... when I came upstairs he was on the computer reading the forum so I am sure ya'll will be hearing from him soon... Our family is very lucky to have such a great guy for a dad and a friend as I am sure everyone here has realized... Jamie
  2. The neighbors were at the house... Some of them anyways... and the nearest house to the fire was about a acre away. it was cool to watch them light it.
  3. Just a quick note First thing he did was turn on the Hk to some cruise music and within a hour fell sound asleep and slept through the rest of the CD. Yall should have seen it. Seems our relaxing cruise vacation wore everyone out. And Buddy had the most fun of all. The port stops we made were beautiful and snorkeling in Cozumel was breathtaking. Even our nonswimmers went and were amazed. Nothing could beat 5 days at sea and spending time together as a family. As for me I am glad to be on land. Just wish the house would quit rocking like the ship. Johnny says he could live on the "freaking" boat. As long as he could have chocolate melting cake and the awesome desserts we have everynight. Talk to yall soon. Jamie and Johnny
  4. Everyone here is rushing around with last minute details for our honeymoon this week. A much needed break to an exciting location. We will be sitting in a warm location tomorrow relaxing. Thank yall for your support and thoughts in the last week, the wedding was beautiful as you can tell, And the photos even more beautiful. We will be posting throughout the week I think but if not talk to yall soon. Jamie
  5. Thanks your work is a visual masterpiece, these pictures are amazing. They are certainly crafted by a master. Thanks so much, We are at a loss for words. Johnny Absolutely stunning. The pictures are getting cheers and tears. The one of Buddy is a tear jerker here. You can see into his soul. Thank you so much. Jamie
  6. we aint' even started yet Elden! - but I feel like I've eaten all the salt east of the Mississippi! two hours of rehersal and dinner and you can be sound asleep in front of the tv. Michael HEY! did you all pass out? Nope did not pass out. Did a few last minute things then died for the night. I am the only one up right now. House looks like a refugee camp. People asleep in corners , and two grown adults on a single mattress. It is so cute! Oops not the only one awake seems like the youngest (6 months)in the house is waking up, feeding time! Oh well so much for the quiet. I hope everyone reading this has a great day!
  7. Ok . It has been a long while since I have posted but this truly deserves a post. Arfandbark you have no idea how the appreciated the receiver is. You have really touched this family. Boy the sound is totally awesome and very impressive! The other thing is that it has been totally cool having Micheal here and we are all gonna miss him when he has to go home. Kind of funny is that he fits right in with the rest of us nuts[Y] and the whole adventure this week has been a hoot. [6] As for Michael sleeping through the night... this group wears people out[|-)].
  8. Ok ... since I am one of the few Dtel's that have not said anything today I just have 2 words .......... "WAY COOL!" other then that i second the family's thoughts Klipsch is the ultimate in speakers and it couldn't have happened to a nicer pair of people.
  9. I will be bringing my five year old.... lol ... I dont think that counts as entertainment for your girls though.
  10. Wow .... How is that possible?
  11. Having worked behind the scenes in my college marching band the tuba would not be my guess while it is a larger instrument it is not that loud when standing next to it and there are usually 4-5 tubas in any marching band I have ever seen. What bothered me the most was the trumpet. Since there are several (anywhere between 5-7) trumpets per band I am guessing that is not it. The fewest instruments in any band are the trombone and the piccolo.... since others have guessed the piccolo I am going with the sweet sounds of the slide trombone.
  12. I did not know that was the name of it but it sure fits.... All I can say is it was cruel and unusual .... I was 3 month pregnant and was holding on to the "Oh $hit handle" for dear life. On top of that we had a leak in the power steering fluid. IT is an absolutely beautiful ride... I just think I will walk it next time.
  13. "Good Morning starshine, Motherearth say 'hello'. " I remember this movie from when I was a kid and figured it would be ok to bring my five year old to see it in the theater. He loved it. For Chistmas my fiance got the movie as a present. He too loves it. Personally I think the movie was good and Depp was a great choice to play Willy Wonka. The humor was geared towards the more mature audience as was some of the new parts added to the movie. The kids loved it for the story of Charlie finding the golden ticket and getting to go to the factory and everything that comes with it.
  14. There is a highway that goes by the Fontana Dam that the bikers like we took it in a car one time... will not do that again... something like 200-300 curves in 18 miles. I think it is hwy 28 but am not sure... Beautiful drive but not for the motion sick types. We too had talked about extending the weekend for a few days and heading for the mountians as it is a favorite place of ours. It is beautiful year round. The traffic during the summer is usually is horrendous on the road from Gatlinburg to Cherokee. But then again we will not be on bikes.
  15. I like the idea of the tshirts and I think the Dtel family would probably go for more then four if there were different ones. I like black, grey, navy and white so I am definitly open on color... though a cool pink one for us ladies would be great too.... what are the chances of getting on in kids sizes???Half pints like Klipsch too!
  16. Amy great choice... the yummy Dr McDreamy!!!! Patrick Dempsey is one of the reasons I love Grey's Anatomy... Oh-la-la
  17. I think the price is very fair. And though I am not a fish person but a chunk of dead cow or a hunk or hen would be lovely.
  18. Indian Telephone Operator Mujibar was trying to get a job in India. The Personnel Manager said, "Mujibar, you have passed all the tests except one. Unless you pass it you cannot qualify for this job." Mujibar said, "I am ready." The Manager said, "Make a sentence using the words Yellow, Pink and Green." Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said, "Mister Manager, I am ready." The Manager said, "Go ahead." Mujibar said, "The telephone goes green, green, green, and I pink it up, and say, 'Yellow, this is Mujibar.'" Mujibar now works as a technician at a call center for computer problems. No doubt you have spoken to him.
  19. A tip from a new grad for studying in a house with a good sound system. 1) Listen and do your dance revolution for 20 minutes. 2) Turn off the music. 3)Begin your home work. 4) Do homework/ study for 35-45 minutes. 5) Turn the music back on. 6) Go to the bathroom/eat/get something to drink and do your dance revolution for ten minutes 7) Turn the music back off and repeat. If you think you need a longer break, Sleep less
