  1. LOL, pointless posts to increase post counts FTW []
  2. I know, but that doesn't do it. isnt there a physical modification that i can make to the RFs to increase bass? Like acousta stuff or something?
  3. Well, the thing is is that i am aiming for bass that can be at a constant level. What I mean is that b/c of different songs that i listen to, I am constantly turing the sub volume up and down since it works well at different frequencies, as to not disturb the family. However, if I am able to squeeze more bass stright out of the RFs, I can have the sub off more which will keep the family happier, dont ask why, just trust me... Also, I have no idea what you mean by configured, there's not much to configure with an HK 3380...
  4. In all honesty, I have no idea [], its just what is labeled on the box. Maybe something to do with that its a refurb....
  5. Somehow I knew one of you two would post, but I have a sub, and upgrading is not an option...and both are placed in corners so....meh, I dunno. I was thinking something like, I really don't know...meh And besides, adding a sub does not get the RF-15s themselves to put out more bass...
  6. Anyone got any ideas as to what can be done to get some RF-15s to put out a little more bass?
  7. Problem solved, bought an H/K HK 3380-Z and just use my ipod when not the radio []
  8. Actually, i know of some rather small churches []
  9. Who you talkin' 'bout??? Rather what, you talkin' 'bout?
  10. That's just sick, but sooo cool! [H] 160dB at 16hz, I'm jealous []
  11. Jay- alright, that's what I was looking for. I didn;t think so, but wanted confirmation William- In regards to #1, not quite. I knew what the two post sets were for, bi-wiring, bi-amping, I'm not a complete dunce [], but I appreciate the info. I knew the posts' intent but just was wondering if (BIG IF HERE) there were other possible uses, and I have found that there are not. SO, I've come up with a better solution. Possibly ditch the PMU sub/amp and just get a receiver. Not only can I have music anytime I want like that, but it will save space like crazy....
  12. speakerfritz- What I want to do is have my PC/PMU as one audio source on my RFs and a receiver as another. Since there are two sets of binding posts, i figured this could be done, but now am not sure. What I am after is a way to get music w/o having to have my PC on, as it is a space heater ironwoods- The Audigy 2 Value has mic and line-level inputs only
  13. Ok, but what about using two power sources, since I havent gotten a straight answer yet[^o)]
  14. It was supposed to have said "Nicely put Jay" under the quote, but it screwed up.
  15. Umm, yeah, away from those speed demons around here, I marched sousaphone in the Milton High School band last year and we placed 7th at the Bands of America regional in Massilon, Ohio last year... This was us just before we started our finals performance, I was one of the sousas in the pod inbetween the 35 and 40 on the right side of the field...
  16. No, but I know where to get one, which is why I'm asking here's the link if you really want to know (FYI, its ebay [:|]): http://cgi.ebay.com/TC-SOUNDS-15-TC9-Subwoofer-Best-of-the-best_W0QQitemZ180010387347QQihZ008QQcategoryZ3275QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This seller also has some TC2+s available....
  17. Which of these two subs would be a better performer (ie which goes lower, sounds better, etc.) in a home environment. Has anyone got any ideas about either?
  18. Okay, thanks. That's just way large
  19. Alright, thanks again Doc, will do, but were those box sizes correct? They both seem overly large....
  20. Okay, thanks Doc. Now, off topic, I punched in the T/S parameters for an Ascendant Audio Arsenal 15 into WinISD and it calculated a ported box to be 17.1cu ft[] with a 4in long port with a 4in diameter and tuned to 17hz, For a sealed box I got a 9.1 cu ft box, does that sound right? This is the first time I used WinISD and am not sure whether or not I did something wrong...
