  2. It sounds awesome with 7.1! Not for sure i want to sell it yet. Sorry, I know I said i would sell it, but these are pretty hard to find. Let me think about it. But, if you want to show off your system, you can borrow it and give it a listen..... Daryl

  4. If your interested, i have the THX demo DVD. I bought it off Ebay about three months ago. It is awesome. Send me your info and i will ship it to you. If you like it, you can buy it from me, if you don't want to buy it, just ship it back. Take your time with it, I have heard it about 25 times. It has great sound effects. You will enjoy it........ Daryl
  5. Get the RC-7 and don't look back. You will thank me later![]
  6. After listening to my buddies 3805, i just had to get one. My Pioneer is ok, but the Denon puts out more clean power.. I had his 3805 hooked up with my current setup in the same room and there was a huge difference. My speakers came to life!!! It had ALOT more punch to it. The Pioneer is a good reciever, but the Denon is a huge step up in my opinion.
  7. Thanks Westcott. I just found a silver one, lightly used with everything included for $490.00. Just waiting for a shipping quote and it should be a done deal. Wish me luck and thanks agian for insight. I can't wait to hear the difference[]
  8. Happy birthday and congrats on your new sub.[^] Let us know how it sounds when you get it all dialed in..
  9. Hello everyone. I have ran into some really bad luck in the last few weeks looking for a Denon 3805. I was wondering if anyone here on this forum is looking to sell theirs. I really don't want to get one on Ebay and everyone seems to be out of stock. I tried on Audiogon and Hometheater forum, but i have always been a day too late. Anyway, if you have one for sale, i am interested. Thanks...
  10. Thanks Ear. Is this the sub your talking about? http://www.svsound.com/products-sub-cyl-pcultra.cfm
  11. My goals are to have a dynamic punch when watching movies, like you are really there. Since i finished my HT, i have only watched movies. I rarely listen to music. I just think my room is just too big for my sub. I need more punch, if that makes sense. Not that it sounds boomy or anything, but i would like more tight bass. I am probably asking the impossible for the money i have right now, but what are your suggestions in the $600.00 to 700.00 price range? Your imput is much appreciated CAS...
  12. Thanks again kelA. Sent me eight carpet spikes and shipped them out today, priority mail, and wouldn't take any money. This forum is great...[Y]
  13. Damn, that's hillarious! How does this happen? It's got to be a joke or did he actually do a search and didn't bother looking at the date?
  14. Thanks Wuzzer. Since the RF-3's are discontinued, i am hoping that the newer reference floorstanders have the same size threaded insert...How long ago did you order them from Klipsch?
  15. Thanks Pat. I will definately call Klipsch tomorrow. I was just throwing it out there in case someone had some they were not using...
  16. Just wondering if anyonone has some carpet spikes for some RF-3's that they are not using? I would be more than happy to buy them and pay for shipping. I looked on Partsexpress but am not sure what size thread i would need. Thanks...
  17. Thanks Ear. There isn't a forum member who's opinion about subwoofers i respect more than yours. I will probably just hold out until i have enough money for the RT-12d. It might take a few months but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Thanks again...
  18. Hello all. I was just wondering if replacing my SVS pb10isd with an RSW-10 would be much of an upgrade or am i better off waiting and saving some more money? I currently have about $600.00 to spend on a sub. My room dimensions are 16'wide by 26' long. Thanks in advance...
  19. Looks great! Very clean looking . What gear are you running with your speakers and what speakers are you running with your gear? I don't see anything under your system profile. Nice job[Y]
  20. I did not know that about reading Ebay email. Thanks for the heads up... BTW, the listing has been pulled. Just in case anyone is wondering, it was a listing for a pair of RF-7's, an RC-7 and a KSW 12 sub. The listing had no description, but had a big box that read " for all the information, click here". When you click the box, it goes to what appears to be Ebay login screen. When i clicked the box, all of my securtiy tabs went nuts. Everything turned red and told me to stop and do not continue. I looked at the link at the top and noticed that is was not an HTTP address, rather an IP address. Pretty scary if you ask me. Spread the word to everyone you know who uses a computer online, that stuff like this is going on. You can't be TOO careful these days.
  21. Be careful. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD when you click on the "click here for all information" link. I signed on to Ebay right before i saw this listing and it asked me for my username and password again. I hope Ebay pulls it before people actually fall for it... http://cgi.ebay.com/KLIPSCH-SPEAKER-SET-RF7-2-TOWERS-CENTER-UNIT-SUBWOOFER_W0QQitemZ160091583203QQihZ006QQcategoryZ148487QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
