She seems to be behaving well on the videos and from trainer reports but the correction for counter surfing and aggression toward strange humans and animals had darn well be worth a WHOLE lot of $$$1/2 large.
At about 8 months old Riley was attacked and neck bitten by neighbor's dogs that were not leashed while we were on a walk. She has been anti-social since. I hope the trips to tennis courts, Lowes, PetSmart and several malls has greatly reduced her anxiety. And yes, I informed that neighbor that I carried and if that happened again he would have 2 dead dogs. While witnessing the act he denied it took place and the wife, also a witness, was all about apologies. He and I didn't quite come to terms but on every other walk he saw the holster. Yes, for you 'others' I meant it,- 3

Butcher Block Acoustics recommended I use threaded gliders from Herbie's to move the rack on carpet and tile. They have other type glides as well.

@USNRET did this get resolved?
Hired an electrician. He scratched his head at the 240 wires but what he was charging I just had him go up in the attic and tap into the living room outlets run. $250 for the drop but he responded within a couple of hours on a Saturday.

I'll have to pull the switch to get a good take on the run but it looks like 2 runs of romex running thru the light switch box and split out with two hots on one side of the switch and one on the other

Remote possibility..... did you you look in the light switch electrical box? You MIGHT have a neutral in there. Of course not to the switch but just wire nutted together with some other neutral wires as a tie point. If so you just have to get 1 wire down from that neutral to where you want to put the outlet.
I think I saw one but will check tomorrow in light.

Then they wired your bath closet to each one with hot to ground for 120 volts. Check your panel to see if they used two 120 circuit breakers or one 220 breaker. Some city electrical codes put the kabash on that kind of setup. You will find this a lot when people don't want to spend the extra money for the wire.
JJK
Will do that in daylight. If one? If two can I open one, separate and cap then wire the outlet normally assuming I don't lose power to something?

Excellent point. Did you measure the whites to the ground? And the blacks to the ground?
Just did, 120 each to ground.

Hmmm.. weird but I would not let that stop ME. I don't know how comfortable you are about working with electricity. I would separate the wires and find out what loses power. If you're not good with that you may have to hire this out. An electrician would probably come in, go up in the attic and drop a new run down the wall and install a new outlet.
If you're going to attempt anything be SAFE, keep your wits about you. For Heavens sake NO cocktails. First thing turn off breakers until the 230 volts goes off, while you separate the wires. 230 volts will kill you dead fast.
I am fairly confident however this is a new to me house with several subpanels and poorly marked. I will get an electrician in when. The cameras, NVR, HDMI baluns and extenders are to be installed first of the week so I can always run an extension cord to the UPS that is powering the rack as the extension is heavy duty and the equipment doesn't really draw much. Modem, gateway, 16 channel NVR with 9 POE cameras, NAS and 24 port POE switch.

I have a closet where I am putting my networking and home security equipment. The closet has no electrical outlet but there is a single gang blank off that has 2 white, 2 back and a ground. The 2 whites are twisted together with a wire nut as are the black wires. At first I thought no problem either I will pigtail into the wire nuts or just connect all 4 to the available lugs on the outlet. I checked voltage and found 243 vac from neutral to hot. What's up here?

you ever miss your military days Mike? I do. Like everyone else I whined a lot at some of the crappola; but I wish I had realized just how much fun I was having. Give me my 18 year old body and I'd do it all again. Personally, I loved the mid-watch ... I was always night guy. Plus, what a lot these forum members don't get is the joy of mid-rats! Peace brother and stay safe there in Texas.
I sometimes miss the 70's early 80's but not so much late 80's on. I don't be politically correct. In the life after I spend a good deal of time around the military and I know that I wouldn't last 5 minutes with current generation...individuals are still pretty much the same as humans when one on one but the institution is letting the country down.

A pair of 396s. One is supposedly customized to be mounted horizontally (used as center) but there is no marking to indicate which one. The invoice noted one as "custom". Packing list calls out "horizontal horn need to be horizontal at the minimum IDEALLY basge on the grill needs to be horizontal and centered on the bottom". Typed as printed.
Haven't de-boxed yetbut both badges are centered on the vertical bottom as they are on normal 396s.
So I unboxed them. No markings to identify the modified speaker. Flashlight thru grill ID'd the changed HF horn. Pulled off the grill and yes one has the horn mounted 90 degrees off under (or over) the port.
The emblem will not be so easy to move as claimed. It is glued, not plastic riveted and there is foam glued to the inside of the grill which will have to be pulled back on one horizontal and one vertical edge and then re-glued which will be difficult to maintain straight edges without bunching.
I am thinking that the center 396's horn should be mounted with the bottom of the HF in line with the bottom of the Jub's HF and the port at the bottom.
Just tidbits for anyone considering using a 396 as a center. I do appreciate Klipsch taking the time to set up the mill to modify the motorboard.
Is this STILL a KLIPSCH?- 2

Check out Das Boot submarine movie and the scene with the Dentist's niece tapping on the office aquarium in Finding Nemo. I popped a few drywall screws during Nemo.

Me, too. But sadly, I have a feeling that the hedge fund guys are investing other people's money, and a lot of unwitting people got burned.
That is all they invest...other people's money. Well, except for that tidy sum they bargain with.

I got to listen to my Jubs today. Nowhere near set up. Optical from TV / Spotify into the Parasound pre, Xilica and 2 Parasound amps. Temporary setup awaiting other things but I am greatly impressed. I was expecting a loss of bass due to room (closed on left and open on right) but I can hear and feel this. Noise deadening shades for the 9 windows come Tuesday.
In the end this might be good.- 4
