A truly profound observation [Y][Y][Y]

That would be it. You can use the panel/cover connectors, just cut the wires to the woofer components.
Before you do that you may want to removce those covers and save them "as is". Make new covers, see: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/109618.aspx

Im a wonder of science also, pound per pound I eat more than what I emit.
I always knew you were full of $hit!!!
Sorry.... you put the ball on the tee and handed me I club....
Nah, Fritzy is not violating the "law", his emissions also would include the heat from the reactor piles...... []

Daughters tend to think things like tats are "cool"..... Until they "grow up" and discover the "tramp stamp" sends the wrong message to wealthy prospective "mates for life", LOL!!!

If you have a Ron White "experience", you can also do a Bill Engvall as you are getting ready to drive away....
Roll down the window and hand them a 3x5 card while saying, "Here's your sign..."

Only Mike's actual post remained "locked" after the "test". The thread is unlocked when you post a reply to any other "unlocked" posts.
What happens is that if a post iteself is locked, it shows being "locked" in the section topics list.
Only Mike who is the OP (or a moderator) can unlock that particular post.
I just "unlocked" the post itself for testing purposes.
You have to be able to either "globally" lock or unlock a thread, or be able to edit posts in a thread in order to lock all or some of the posts.
Tricky.... but hopefully that answers the questions.

Ditto on what Dennie sez.
If the "mechanics" are ok, carefully inspect the cabinets for chips, water damage, etc. You cannot open the backs on the Forte's, but you really do not need to open them up by removing the drivers unless something is obviously "wrong".
Good luck and we hope you are successful in the search!

Don't worry.... you'll get the itch..... One day you'll just ask yourself that "what if?" question.... and the journey will start again..... K'horns, Jubes, etc.
You're doomed.... might as well start looking now!!! LOL! !!!

Depends on how much the buyer wants to pay the seller if they are used. "New" is retail. Nothing retail will ever command the retail price once they are sold to the first buyer. Maybe close, but not full amount. Big reason is the warranty which normally does not transfer.

How about a nice bribe, a CD of Iron Butterfly (seein' as how you've just about worn out whatever you've got - LOL!!!), and we'll call it a day. []
PS. Can you wash that shirt again? Tie it up with rubber bands and throw in some red dye? Just for some nostalgia, you understand....[]

Let me just add a couple quick comments here. I prefer Brand XXX but only would recommend their model 38DDD. The web sites I've seen them on are very detailed. Great umm rear and front panel shots. The knobs are clearly visible and also have a center tweeking adjustments on them. Inputs and output are easily distinguishable that even the most novice user could get excited about it. I've seen them laid in such a manner that multiple units can be chained together with relative ease.
Brand XXX has some great 'receivers'. Shipping and handling can get expensive. Only thing I really dislike about Brand XXX is they charge for auditions before purchase..... [6]
