  4. In goes a bit of RED Himalayan salt ! Chris gave me this 'Vic Firth' salt mill AND the salt for Christmas. We know this man, as he was the Timpanist for MANY years with the Boston Symphony Orchestra! He is retired from the orchestra now, but has his OWN line of kitchen gourmet items such as this, all are made in the state of MAINE []

  7. This photo shows a 12" saute pan with extra virgin olive oil going IN.....
  8. All is ready to go into the saute now.... ALL the colors of the Italian flag are here []
  9. Ready to chop up some of that 'peeled' garlic.............YES, that is TWO HEADS of garlic, we never count 'cloves' []
  10. Here the rosemary has been chopped up, and MANY cloves of garlic are next. And of course, a little bit of Carlo Rossi 'Founders Oak' cab to have on hand while the dish is created...[]
  11. Foodies............here we go.......... A VERY simple pasta dish made up fresh... Lets start with the ingredients. Some imported and mostly organic... The pasta, garlic, tomatoes and rosemary along with some XVOO for the saute.... Lets get cookin' [Y]

  13. Ok, scratch the Thai dish...........its an italian pasta night instead. Theme? Organic rosemary, add to that, fresh garlic, XVOO and some premium organic tomatoes (canned).. The gourmet pasta has been picked...a nice RED vino will be opened.......Check back later this evening for a little photo essay. Hey there Jhoak, thanks for stopping by, how about something YOU've created ?.........we've had lots of entries in the old thread like this, and we are trying to stick to the theme of this new one, thanks []
  14. TONIGHT, we are cookin' up a tradional Thai dish..........Chris is getting all the fresh ingredients we need from the Asian Market. This will be an organic Tofu saute'd in a mushroom soy sauce - Pad Thai .... Stay tuned [] ......Gary
