  1. I was watching it this afternoon on the Tube, and I think they reported 1100+ firemen on the scene. Looks like a major crisis in So Cal, and what a mess. My prayers go out to those folks that must endure that poor air quality and uncertainty of the near future.

13% humidity and 50mph winds (cross winds)

  2. First I would like to say that I am impressed by the knowledge of some of the posters here at this site. Although I don't really understand a lot of whats being said.

Well, that makes (2) of us, but what I've gained in knowledge is just enough to make me dangerous[:D]

Welcome to the madness (to coin the phrase)

  3. That's a "shocking" series of photo's appropriate for this crowd[:)]

At least Michael and myself were dressed in formal Klipsch attire, and what a blast on the Western Shore. Next on the hit parade, KLIPSCH PILGRIMAGE. Marty, thumbs up, you had me pondering! I am sure the people behind me were getting a nice light (sparks) show from underneath my car (cutouts/exhaust system hitting the road). Grrrrr, darned 355[8o|] and Richmond wasn't too kind either.

FTR, I'm not WILD, just mildly off-axis and spontaneous at times[:o][:D].

  4. Hey gang, you left me nothing to add on the musical performance other than OUTSTANDING![:D]

Larry's organizational skills are to be commended, and the city excursion to the Hall was an interesting adventure to say the least[8-)] Did I ever say I detest city driving[:#], but it was well worth the trouble.

I cannot thank Gary/Catherine and Larry enough for all their hospitality, and Michael, when in Rome.........well, you know the rest[;)] Definitely a great group of people with which I had the pleasure of sharing time.

As for me, it was a long, long, weekend starting @ Gary's mid-day Saturday and ending 11:30pm Sunday arriving back home. Except for northbound Sunday I-95 traffic which forced me into detouring over to 301, and a screw in my tire (which I discovered this morning), it was incident free and a wonderful weekend all the way around. Amazing I actually back-doored the BWI airport for Michael, but it gave us time to talk. WHO NEEDS A MAP/ATLAS[:o]

I love driving on trips of this nature, albeit NOT every weekend. Sounds like a good time was had by everyone, and sorry for not posting earlier, but just arrived work, so onward I go.

    I'll check back later

    Mark
