  1. PM, Nice kit... I love simplicity!!! Thanks for the reply.
  2. I am sure this has been covered, so if someone can point me to the thread that would be great. If not, please chime in as to which one you prefer and why. Thanks in advance.
  3. I have been watching this thread, and would really like to try to make it. It is a little early for me to be able to confirm. It is really kind of you to extend this invitation. I will PM you as the date gets a little closer. Enjot the music...
  4. Still do not have it hooked up yet.... I was gone for a few days, just got back and still need to get the table from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara. I will be sure to post a review as soon as I have some time to listen. I am also having to build a shelf (close to the amp) so that I can use the original cables.
  5. Thanks for the information. Hard to see why someone would buy these for a "collection" but, whatever floats your boat.
  6. Not to speak for Allan, but the table IS SOLD. I picked it up the other day and it is in my possesion. And you know what they say about possesion...9/10... I am really looking forward to giving the old LINN a spin.
  7. Allan, I'll take the LaScalas if the are RB and mint!!!! They would look nice with this pretty new TT. Enjoyed meeting you yesterday. Stephen
  8. Picked up a really nice table today, and met a really nice guy in the process. Thanks Allan... I am really looking forward to giving my new LINN a spin!!!
  9. So... did anyone get these??? I was going to bid but spoke with the seller... what a pr*&^!!!
  10. Thanks, I wish I were closer. I would love to hear a pair of the LaScala II's. I will make a point to get up there sometime. You could just sell me yours....
  11. I was thinking of bidding on these, but was a little unsure of what was going on with the grills and those studs holding them on. Now I am thinking maybe driving to Oregon... doesn't make sense that there are not more used pairs for sale here in California.
  12. Thanks for the reply Piranha. I will check out Zapp. Any other tips are welcome.
  13. New at a dealer? I would go as far as Vegas or Arizona. Or a really nice used pair??? Any help would be appreciated. Thnaks in advance. Stephen
  14. OK, thanks for the replies... At least its not just me being crazy. I have looked at SO many pairs trying to develop a pattern... where none exsists.
  15. Surely with all of the knowledge on this site, someone must know. A pair of "X" Heresy's just sold on epay with terminals on top. The "X"s should be '82s right? It seems like I have seen similar vintage Hersy's with terminals down low. What gives???
  16. Would someone be kind enough to tell me when the switch was made from putting the terimals on the lower cabinet to the upper cabinet? These seem to be all series I, but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance. Two Dot
  17. Something does not seem right. Brand new??? Should be III's right? Not II's Wife throws away boxes??? But owner is smart enough to have La Scala's... Come on...
  18. Thanks for the reply. Thats funny, seems to me that all of the Cornwalls for sale are on the right coast... The greass is always greener...
  19. Hey All, I am looking for a nice set of Cornwalls, if anyone has any leads I would really appreciate it. I am in Southerrn California and would be willing to make a roadtrip for the right pair. First preference would be RB then OW, ect. Thanks in advance. BTW I still have my first pair of Heresies, Oiled Oak, purchased new 25 years ago. I am not a trader. These are for use on the left coast, my "little ones" are back east.
  20. How about a little time at Filmore for some of the great shows... and...Lets not forget a little time with SRV
