  1. Can the LightSpeaker be installed in an up position as well as a down position as in table lamp vs recessed can light?

Can the LED module be replaced, just because the LED's are rated for 40,000hours does not insure each and every LED will live that long?

Is the LightSpeaker UL damp or wet labeled for exterior use?

I really like the concept and hope this is a great selling product.

  2. Michael I can come by Thursday eve and help load up the gear on the trailer.

Friday I am good for the afternoon fun and the Klipsch HQ event and the hanging out at Rodgers (indyklipschfans) place.

Saturday I have the car show that I help arrange for my club from 10 to 3ish. I might be able to get home and come back after its over. I am not leaving a 44 year old show car parked in a public lot at the park

Sunday I can help out once again

  3. Michael i hope your doing better.

There is no way i could have done what you did. I have never had a cavity in 46 years and would plain freak out if they had to drill on me.

i would even opt for medication during cleaning if they would offer it :)

  4. great write up and pics. I got so excited the night I brought my Khorn home from my roadtrip to Chicago that I forgot to take a single pic of them in the moving van. It was late and I was on the phone awaiting my friend to show up to help move them in the house and I was feeling a little, well not to bad that he had to leave his house so late to lend a helping hand as I arrived home 2 hours later than expected that I just forgot.

  5. There are a few versions of the PS3 and I have read opinions that some have a loud fan noise. I the current release model and I dont notice this, but it also sitting next to a noisy cable box so maybe that mask the sound.

As far as audio goes, my HD-A35 playing the Eagles from Melbourne in lossless (even though its not listed on the box as being encoded this way or the menu even) is as good of audio as my PS3 playing lossless. I think they both sound incredible. I use my HD-A35 to upscale DVD in lieu of the PS3 just because it easier for me. But video quality is excellent from the PS3 in 1080p Blu-ray.

Now I will say that nothing sitting on top of my speakers vibrate a single inch from their original position except on the Queen from Montreal in Blu-ray with DTS HD Master Audio where as then everything is displaced.

  6. I really liked this movie. Action was intense even before the opening credits. DTS HD Master Audio was incredible. I recognized Jack White voice right away, havent checked out the extra yet. Can not wiat to see the music video.

The scene where they fall thru the glass actually made me feel like I was falling.

I watched it Friday night, then Saturday night I was just going to watch the opening scene again and just could not stop until I had seen it for a second time.

  7. Due to growing up in the Indianapolis music scene that all made perfect sense to me.

Let me know next time and I would enjoy tagging along.

I Went and checked out Days of the New (from Louisville) and Seven Mary Three in the big ole tent downtown a couple weeks ago.

I was nice to get out and hear some live music!

I am going home to crank up some Roadmaster, it will be my first time ever hearing them thru the big horns.

  8. But, not many BD's are recorded in this sound mode yet anyway.

Every new release BD I have purchased has been in DTS HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD. The box can be misleading and only say PCM uncompressed.

The Denon new AVR's have the lower level versions made in China where as the upper levels are made in Japan and are worth the step up if you need it.

But I beleive for the entry level price of $500 bucks or less having the Audyssey DSP is a great bang for the buck but you get no preouts or phono input. The amplifiers in this unit will in no way compete with seperates if you need to go loud, but for the average HT this is a nice AVR. I would like to see the real output wattage ratings of the AVR789/1909 (which are identical units as far as the guts go).

  9. No Room ??? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

you can always ... MAKE room... sell your furniture..... I did.......... no kidding.....all you need is a listening chair and a place to set a beer (other than a speaker) LMAO

Thats what I did also, everything out of the living room except for the couch which was part of a sectional so its now more like two loveseats with a space in between to allow the Forte II rears to flow through.

Oh yea, the wife left last year so no static from that!

  10. I really like the Farewell Tour HD DVD. Joe Walsh is one of the best parts to me. Yes there are a few songs I skip over but not many.

I watch it way more than Hell Freezes Over but that is probably because of HD video and DTS HD audio.

Plus there are some pretty views from the audience.
