  1. I got a stupid question... What's the difference between unbalanced and balanced cables?
  2. I just got the amp. My god, it was heavier and bigger than i had imagined! It was the coolest thing to unpack, ever! Now it's just waiting to feed some power to the cornwall's arriving next week.
  3. Thanks for the resonse guys.. It warms my heart! I also got a TL Audio iTube 25watt here that i am going to test up against the mac. Could be interesting. The picture's were great! I'm fantasising that they are making my pair...
  4. I just got to spread the joy... Today i ordered 1 pair of Cornwall III and a McIntosh MC275. Please let me hear you say that this is a match made in heaven....
  5. We actually got the dual 11" Sunfire subwoofer in our show-room! It really rocks.
  6. Thanks for some nice ideas! Rotel seems like a very smart idea. McIntosh too. If it all where up to me, we would have alot of heritage, but alas. Most of the people who buy think about the WAF factor. You know what they say "everything is big in America". I am hoping on the Palladium though!
  7. Hello chaps! I wanna ask you something. I'v changed jobs lately, and become a Klipsch dealer! Its a facinating job. We have the RF-82's and 83's in the shop for demo. We are talking about ordering the new palladium speakers, but we'll see. We have hooked the RF-83's up with alot of the norwegian Electrocompaniet gear, and now we have also the complete set of Parasound New Classic series(the biggest power amp). We also got the RT-10d. It really pounds. But i wanna ask you. We can get our hands of alot of things. But what electronics do you recomend with the RF-83's? The Electrocompaniet stuff is very nice and refined. Acctually, it's too "high end" for the speakers if you ask me. Therefor we hooked the Parasound up with the 83's, and they are more of a match. We often sell these speakers to people who wants all-round/party speakers who play nice. Many who had/has Cerwin Vega, and wants something good. Looking foreward to some nice recommendations. -Tom
  8. Wow, they look good, and i bet they sound even better. But that is too big for my currently apparmtent. When i move, it will be a smaller one too, so the RF-83 are easyer to place when that time comes.
  9. Thanks alot for all the oppinions! The truth is, that i am changing job, and will be a selling hi-fi, and Klipsch is one of the brands we are selling! Looking foreward to beginn. I think i am leaning towards the RF-83. But do you guys think the MC275 is a nice match? Will it controll the 3 woofers well? And what do you mean "Uffda" Craig? Haha. What does your tube idea cost? When it comes to the Jubilee, i have no experience with them. When i search google, i find Klipsch KPT Jubilee 535, black industriell speakers. Is it theese monsters you are talking about? Are they still in produtcion?
  10. Yeah, though about those too, but i rather choose Cornwall. I think the new 15" bass on them should sound really nice. But truth be told, i havent heard a single heritage speaker, so i don't know. I hope there is someone here who have heard the RF-83 and the Cornwall III, so they could tell me what they think about the differances.
  11. Is HD Radio the same as DAB? Digital Audio Broadcast.
  12. I'm brainstorming alot lately. I am thinking about buying some new gear, and when i write new, i mean new, not used. The plan i to buy a new McIntosh MC-275, and new speakers. Now i have the RF-82's. I am thinking of upgrading to the 83¨s or Cornwall III. I know that 99 % of you is gonna scream Cornwall, but i really like my RF-82's and i think the 83's are a nice upgrade. Haven't heard any heritage, but i think the Cornwall is a better speaker, but is it better for me? The price for a pair of new RF-83 is 4400-4500 USD and Cornwall II is about 6900-7000 USD in Norway. I use my 2 ch for stricktly music use only. I usaly listen to rock/metal and sometimes techno/dance. I also have a RW-12D bass in the corner for those low hz. Is the Cornwall worth 2500 USD more? Any ideas?
  13. Congratst on a very nice deal, Alan! I haven't heard the La Scallas, but i am positive that you'll be extremly satisfied.
  14. Hello fellow maniacs. Today i got to see the new Palladium live! Sorry to say, i dident got to hear them... But to see them and touch them was fantastic. And i got to see Khorns 60 year speakers. I'm in heaven! God they are huge... And i saw some nice Mac gear. All this at the huge norwegian Electroworld convention.
  15. Wow, thats really cool. Really interesting stuff. I have an aunt and a grandfather that have suffered a stroke, and It's nothing you wanna have yourself... Keep up the great work!
  16. Sorry for the double post! Having some internet issues...
  17. Hey! It's not our fault that we don't have access to nice gear over here....! You guys are way to spoiled...[]

  19. Haha, now that's the way to do it! Ahh.. I just dream of using the Dialator 2000 against this idiot. That would bring me very much satasfaction indeed...
  20. Here is my setup. Further plans/dreams is mac tubes and maby RF-83. When i get a house of my own, it's gonna be heritage mayehm. Click on the image for full size.
  21. Oooo.. Can i come? So i can kick the living shit out of him...!
  22. Warning! Berhosaudioshop is a scam! He is a profesional scammer. Don't buy anything from him. I have a thread on him under 2 channel audio called "experience". He scammed me for $450.00. Don't do what i did....
