Beautiful amp, wish I had the need for it. GLWS!

Looks awesome man! I bet you're so stoked with your new setup, congrats!

Ah I see. Yeah I always enjoyed how low the Forte 1's could dig. Given the Chorus II box is bigger, how come they didn't go as low if not lower?
-
Never heard the Forte II's. How do they compare to the version 1's?

I think the important thing here is IbizaFlame is happy with the difference. And with that said, I'm glad you are able to enjoy your Klipsch speakers even more! Let the sweet tunes flow bro!

Tough time for us sellers atm. I'm trying to get rid of my Chorus II's but no bites. GLWS bro!

I think enjoy the bass from the Chorus' more.
You can feel em in your chest when hittin 300+ watts
MKP :-)
Oh this is so true! Just for giggles, I A/Bed my Integras 85w per channel, to my Acurus' 250 per channel, no contest.. The extra power really gets those 15's movin'. For all the direct radiating drives of the Heritage line, the Chorus II's are my favorite.

Cornwall killers they are. Underated speaker IMHO.
I wish I could have auditioned the two at the same time, that would of been great! Sadly, its been six years since I sold my Cornwalls. But yes the Chorus II's are every part of awesome. If memory serves, even though they don't go as low as the Corns, I think enjoy the bass from the Chorus' more.

+1 for raising the Heresy up a bit higher.
I have the 7 II's and absolutely love them! I use them primarily for my home theater and I doubt I'll ever relieve them of that duty. With that being said the Heresy' had a big improvement for me when I put them on top of my component cabinet, where the top surface is about 28" off the ground. Will doing that beat the 7's? I doubt it, but it will surely make things more interesting.

I am only 15 minutes from Long Beach, but I don't have 7 bills to drop on speakers right now.
Well when you do, and if they're not sold, hit me up!

Good luck guys, keep us posted!
-
Right? Maybe I just need to kick them up to $1200, have people haggle me back down to $700, they'll get sold?

Any chance you will be coming North in the near future, say The Bay Area?
I don't plan on being that way anytime soon. But if there's no movement I might be willing to drive somewhere in the middle.

I've owned both, and both sounded great, they are very similar speakers. Though it looks like the KLF series (97'-01') was to replace the higher end KG series. The KG 5.5 were made 94'-97'.

Very pretty speakers indeed! And I'm sure they just sound amazing, congrats!

If I had more space I'd probably keep them, but since the Scalas will be my main music listening speaker they'll just go unused. Plus I'd line to free up a little cash for other projects I have.

I'm in Long Beach, and they're still for sale.

Yeah I'm giving the forum first crack at them. If no takers they'll go Craigslist for more.

Haven't heard the version one Chorus' myself but I can vouch for the Cornwalls, they are awesome speakers. The best way I can describe them is they have a big presence, they kind of remind me of the K-horns in that regard. I don't know how much of an upgrade they'll be over your Chorus, but the best way to find out is give them a try! And I'm sure if you're unhappy with them, ( which I doubt you will be ) you can easily sell them and get some Chrous back like you mentioned.

Gosh these speakers freaking rock! Just had a little listening session and now I remember why I loved them so much! Please someone buy these soon so I don't start clearing out a permanent place for them...

If you ever consider shipping, I know how much a pain it would be, I'll definitely buy this from you.

Thanks fellas. If I didn't have my La Scalas I'd keep them, but sadly they've been sitting unused for a little while now and I'd like to see them go to somebody who will be using them on a regular basis because these are some rockin' speakers!

La Scala question regarding speaker Height
in 2-Channel Home Audio
Posted
Would raising the La Scalas and putting them on some sort of stand provide any benefit from them just sitting on the ground? And if so, how high should the base of the Scalas be from the floor?
